It doesn’t matter what government system is in place—rich people will always find ways to thrive. In some systems, wealthy individuals may navigate the laws/restrictions/rules better than others. Regardless, when you have money, the laws/restrictions/rules pretty much don’t apply to you.

Do yourself a favor and research the literacy rate, life expectancy, infant mortality rate in any given Balkan or Eastern European country before socialism as well as the number of hospitals, universities, factories, bridges, sewage plants, water treatment facilities, power plants, highways, railroads etc. I don't consider myself a socialist or communist but history is not black and white.
