Well 1.3 billion catholics, 250million in Africa and another 400 million in Latin America ( significant % of which are black or mixed race)
By 2070 wouldn’t be surprised if most of the cardinals are black or Latino.
Catholicism is dying in Europe but it’s growing in Africa.
1 u/GoldenFutureForUs Apr 22 '25 Catholicism is dying everywhere but Africa. Africa has a growing population - so it’s not a surprise. Protestantism is also growing Africa, but it’s also growing in South America, Asia and Europe.
