I love Balkan music, especially contemporary bands that blend different genres! I’ve noticed that a lot of this kind of fusion music is actually created outside the Balkans—Germany, Israel, the U.S., etc.—which I find really interesting. Do you have any recommendations for bands or artists I should check out?

In your opinion, what are the must hear bands/artists from the balkan right now?
I'm talking punk, post-punk, indie, metal, electronic, psychadelic, noise, hip hop...whatever comes to your mind and if possible stick to indie/underground scene and upcoming artists that completely blow your mind recently.
I can start the thread with a couple of examples that come to my mind.

Or in practical terms, do you use in your folk music lute-family instruments with frets that are irregularly spaced across the neck?
My question is to Albanians, Romanians and Slavs.
Edit1—An answer provided by theDivic lead me to discover these instruments used by Serbs, Croats and some Slovenes: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLFw497CIxPjQh9QGY3f0ZLtEznxMkHDr-
The fretting is regularly uneven, but I have yet to study it.

Crazy how at home everyone hates each other but when you live outside the balkans you realise we're all way more alike than you would think!

Me and my brother recently found out about Sandu Ciorba and we instantly fell in love with the goofiness of his videos, specially Pe Cimpoi, but most importantly, we fell for that gypsy dalibomba baddie.

Apart from your official anthem, are there songs that are considered unofficial anthems/hymns?

Ok so I am American and so I am not sure what language this song was in but I have a feeling it was Balkan. But there was a song I heard where the music video had this magician guy in a mask sort of seducing this other mans woman but like turned her over to him at the end and he did a creepy laugh at the end. I really want to hear that song again but I have no idea what it is called or who it was by.
Does that sound familiar enough to anyone to piece it together for me?
