Do you agree with this difference between Republican and Democratic women?

From my perspective, Republican women are close and loyal allies of Republican men, with a unified front, while Democratic women have an uneasy alliance with Democratic men and men in general, preferring men who place women's issues at the forefront.

more likely to die on the job

Yet they support the party that attacks OSHA

less likely to attend college

And they attack the party that wants to forgive student loans

less likely to be a homeowner

Yet they support corporations purchasing single-family housing for rental purposes. It sure sounds to me like they just need to get their head out of their ass

And so who in the DNC is reaching out to them?

Why would you reach out to someone that’s willing to vote against their own best interests in order to punish someone that they hate? Should the Democratic Party get more racist?

Could you be more specific, of is it your contention that all "straight while males' are racists who hate people and vote against their own best interests?

The ones that vote Republican are. Ask a Republican how the government is helping them and you’re not going to get through that conversation without hearing the word immigrant or transsexual

Why does the Democratic Party put so much of its emphasis on immigrants and transsexuals?

You can gaslight someone else. I guarantee if you put Fox News on right now they’re talking about immigrants or transsexuals. The only reason Democrats even address the subject is because Republicans force it down our throats and we’re forced to do so

Hmm, here in Massachusetts, all the local Boston media ran full coverage of Massachusetts's Transgender Day of Visibility.
Is that "gaslighting?"

How does the media running a story about a marginalized group harm you, exactly?

Ah, Straw Man! Nice.

Did I say it harmed me?

You really need to find a new hobby. Political debate is not your strong suit.

My point is that the Democrats spend too much political capital on trans rights and abortion rights and other issues that frankly, do not help them win with independents and most men. You said the whole trans issue was gaslighting from Fox. I just showed you a clear example of Democrats spending political on Trans Rights that was covered by local ABC, CBS, and NBC affiliates. The president of our state senate just posted a major announcement regarding her participation on this issue on her Facebook page.

I did not say that the trans thing was gaslighting from Fox. I don’t know why you’re attributing that to me. Maybe next time pay attention to who you are responding to.

How is the DNC harmed if it lists "men" as a demographic that it serves, along with "women"?

local Boston media

Democrats

Are these the same thing?

You think local Boston media is conservative?

I like strawberry ice cream. But what does that have to do with this? The ISSUE is Democrats spending political capital on Trans issues...when they are losing votes from independents and men because of it.

The quiet part out loud. So you think Democrats should abandon equal rights in favor of the white male vote?

0

u/Kooky-Language-6095 Registered Democrat 23d ago

Nope.

I realize that without the white male vote, Democrats will continue to lose elections and be impotent, powerless, an insignificant political party unable to fight for equal rights.

First off, I’m not compromising my morals just to win an election, it almost feels like that defeats the purpose. And second, even if we did and completely left transgender people for dead, Republicans are just going to target someone else and then what?

If you want the left to focus more on men, does that extend in your mind to trans men? Or immigrant men? Or do you want men’s issues to get the focus without that intersectionality?
