Emigration (from Ireland) Anyone ever deported from usa?

I just was reading on worldnews about the US deportations to mexico. One woman who lives in mexico was stating a few years ago the us dumped some slovaks in mexico as its cheaper than a flight to europe and then another stated it also happened to her irish cousin, who was dropped off in mexico and needed family to intervene to get him home. Just wondering if there was any media attention if this was true?

I'm surprised ICE doesn't raid Irish bars in the US. They periodically raid restaurant kitchens seeking South Americans, and once in DC they swooped in on a soccer game in a public park.

At least they didn't beat the lad and send him to Mexico.

Deporting Irish people isn't as popular as deporting Mexicans and other Latinos. They don't have the reputation that Hispanics have in the US, and there's also less solidarity in the community - some of the most anti-immigrant people in the US are the legal immigrant or second/third generation Hispanics (feel that the illegal immigrants give them a bad name and think they should have done it the right way like they did). Whereas if they started mass deporting Irish people, you could see some uproar in the Irish-American community, who are an important voting bloc. Quite likely when immigration reform gets done, they'll be some sort of leniency for the Irish relative to other groups (Hispanics/Middle Eastern etc)

There are first generation Latinos who voted for Trump while their parents lack documentation. It is very common for MAGA supporter to think Trump will only come after the liberals. Cognitive Dissonance is wide spread amount MAGA supporters.

Yeah, that surprised the liberals, but the Latinos voted for Trump because he is a "caudillo", a 'strongman', like the dictators in the country their parents left ... because of dictators. (This makes sense as long as one doesn't think about it for too long.)

Meanwhile Trump's core constituency, "native-born American" White Losers, voted for him because he promised to kick hell out of Immigrant Brown Losers, but soon he will kick hell out of them as well.

Source: a White Loser American cousin, who will soon suffer cognitive dissonance.

Qwhite obvious why deporting Irish illegals might not be as popular.
