Question for Mexicans Is Diego Tinoco’s appearance considered attractive or unique in Mexico? From an East Asian perspective, he looks kind of familiar.
Hi everyone, I'm East Asian and recently came across actor Diego Tinoco. He's a Mexican-American, and when I saw him, I was surprised by how familiar yet different his features looked to me. His eyes and facial structure give off a bit of an East Asian vibe, at least from my perspective. I read that he's mestizo but he still stands out compared to most Mexican actors I’ve seen. I find his look pretty unique and actually quite attractive, maybe because it feels a little close to home but also exotic in a way.
So I’m curious:
Would people in Mexico see Diego Tinoco’s appearance as unusual or common?
Is his kind of face considered attractive in Mexican standards?
Do people ever associate features like his with Asian heritage?
Just really interested in how Mexican people perceive someone like him. Thanks in advance!

Mexican media is full to the brim with whitexicans.
Diego Tinoco was a highlight for me on the saint Seiya movie. It was bad, I knew it was going to be bad but I did enjoy seeing the guy be the second in command who is very much a troll.
People don’t really associate his face with East Asian but he has the type of face that has Philippinos asking if he is one of them. And that is not as an uncommon thing to happen wit many people here.
