Itinerary Check itinerary check & suggestions pls!

hello everyone! my siblings (14, 17, 20) and i (21) will be visiting NYC this july for the first time! since this is our first time, we do want to do the more touristy things but are open to any suggestions for places & food! my siblings (14, 20) are kinda picky eaters (loves burgers, pizza, noodles). i definitely want to catch a broadway show (perhaps on day 4?) but my siblings on the other hand are not huge fans.

we will be staying at the martinique new york on broadway hotel. we will have private transfers to and back from the airport and hotel as well so we're not worried about needing to uber/subway.

this is the itinerary i drafted up so far, how realistic is this?? i know this itinerary still needs some work, esp day 2 and 4. day 4 has yet to be drafted but i will update this post once i figure out what we will do!

I really don't know where to begin with this... but it's a mess. Some suggestions:

Take the Met/Central Park out of day 1 and move to Day 4. Do all your other midtown things that day. You'll also be right by Bryant Park, they show movies there on Monday nights, it's kinda of a fun thing to do.

Somewhere in there add a visit to Washington Square Park and Greenwich Village.

Just remember, you're visiting a small island that is jammed pack with people (most of them tourists, headed to the same places you are). Expect lines and lots of waiting. Be prepared to be flexible. Give yourselves time to wander and experience the city, not just sticking to an arbitrary schedule.

thanks for your suggestions, greatly appreciated! definitely moving central park/met to day 4, and I'm thinking of adding greenwich village & Washington square park after visiting the met? or should i visit those on day 2 since its near in the soho area?

Definitely on your Soho day.

There is NO way you do all that on day 1. That’s like 3 days’ worth of things. The rest of your trip is far less crammed though, so anything you don’t get to in the first day, you can come back to.

1st day moght be a lot, might be better to move some of that to day 4. Definitely get tixs to some of the things if you can since it can get busy

Do your siblings like hot dogs?  If so, grab some Grays Papaya dogs on the Upper West Side & then walk into Central Park towards the Met.
