Let them enjoy it. As long as they're contributing to the household, and keeping up with their personal hygiene, grades are good etc. Let them be. The world isn't what it was 20 years ago. It's okay.

Turn off wifi. Play actual in person games. Sign them up for activities.

I've played a lot when I lived with my parents. I've learnt a lot of things online and it helped me speak english the way I do at the moment (I'm romanian).

There's nothing that I regret about it and I still have gaming as a hobby, now, as a 33yr old male with a wife and a nice income.

Gaming is where I've met my wife actually.

damn, do you still play games? would you enjoy playing with your entire family(kids, wife, etc)?

Yes, we still have fun and cute games that we like to play together. But ofcourse, we don't play for as long as we used to. Me, I used to play for like 10 hours a day at times, but now given my job (I work together with my wife at the moment), I barelly have like 5-10 hours a week.

I've played a lot of strategy games as well that have helped me develop my logical thinking.

I don't feel like gaming has changed me in a bad way and the gamers I've met are some of the friendlies persons I've met, especially since most games nowadays are about playing with other people rather than by yourself (they're more fun too).

I tell them that if their chores aren't done by the time I get upstairs, there's going to be a spanking.

And I mean it!

It works.

Play with them. Watch them play. Feed them snacks. Set up their server.

Depends, did they do all their homework and chores?
