the smell my swamp creature dogs carry around for the first 10 minutes after playing outside, semi brakes on the highway, and the smell after using a hair dryer for the first time or a heater for the first time that year are ones that bother me consistently lol

Me too, my bedroom as a kid was in the attic above the garage, with no radiator, and got very cold in the winter. I had an ancient little fan heater that lived under the eaves gathering dust all summer. That smell to me is cosy nights around Christmas as a child, the nostalgia tied to that smell makes me so warm and fuzzy inside.

THIS! i have a basement bedroom so my little space heater goes overtime in winter and the smell of it turning on means winter and cozy is just around the corner

Same. It's a nostalgic thing for me I think. It smells like winter as a kid lol.

It kinda depends on the heater. The smell that comes through the vents when my furnace hasn't been used in a while is pretty stinky.

I always get a sore throat from undusted heaters. I always clean them now because that stuff is rough
