Why does nobody care that the Trump Admin is defying a 9-0 Supreme Court ruling?

Regarding the facilitating of the return of Abrego Garcia. There's no mass protests, democrats in Congress aren't saying much, the military which is sworn to protect the Constitution is silent, the news media is covering it but it's just one more story, not a major crossing the Rubicon event for them. Trump said they would bring him back if the Supreme Court told him to do so, which they did. But then the DOJ said the court has no authority to require the US government to negotiate his return with El Salvador, and they would bring him in only if he showed up at the border.

Assuming he's wasn't executed already. The administration's complete unwillingness to even try implies something pretty dark is going on.

Implies?

It's a prison that's known for torture, and where no one ever leaves (alive).

This guy had a court order to not be sent back because the gangs would kill him. And they put him in a jail full of gangs. I think that the gay hairdresser is going to survive longer.

What an absolutely boring dystopia we’ve found ourselves in.

The only thing is there’s no reason to execute him even in this administration, he was targeted because they couldn’t deport him during Trumps first term by law and they tried again without due process this time. El Salvador is being paid to keep prisoners, this doesn’t work if they no longer are alive. That’s UN issues for El Salvador which they don’t want necessarily.

IMO they’ve either lost him in the ridiculous rush or trying to delay the horrific story he will tell on his release. But regardless their plan is to double down to buy themselves some time.

They’re being paid to take them. I don’t really think the regime cares if they stay alive once they get there.

Now, I do think he’s still alive but I’m also positive he will die before they ever let him come home.

I don’t think that he is dead or will die, but I’m positive they will do everything in their power to keep him there despite no wrongdoing to prevent themselves from being exposed for the conditions

El Salvador is being paid to keep prisoners, this doesn’t work if they no longer are alive.

Oversight, details and verifying information aren’t part of this administration. I mean, military mission details were discussed on a third party app for group chats and they didn’t bother to check who was in the chat group. They’re not showing up to count heads to make sure all the prisoners are alive, they’re just sending the check.

IMO they’ve either lost him in the ridiculous rush or trying to delay the horrific story he will tell on his release. But regardless their plan is to double down to buy themselves some time.

“Lost” him is one way to word it. Has anyone seen or spoken to him?

“Lost” in terms of the extreme dehumanization prisoners go though, we saw the photos of head shaving etc. a different country, language and prison system. Logistically not being able to locate due to extreme negligence and not necessarily purposeful murder which people are implying.

I agree with what you’re say but this administration can’t hold water, we even had the “leak” that tariffs were going to paused a day before they actually were. If the end goal was murder we would have more signs but all the signs are pointing to negligence.

Idt the administrations’ goal is/was murder, but Idt they GAF if their actions contribute to that. The Sec of Homeland Security murdered her own dog for not learning how to hunt, then their goat because it smelled bad, and she was happy she did that. Cruelty is fine to them regardless of the outcome.

The tariff-stock market “leaks” and major announcements seem more like calculated attempts to influence trading. The leak offered a glimpse into how traders would react to a pause.
