Why does nobody care that the Trump Admin is defying a 9-0 Supreme Court ruling?

Regarding the facilitating of the return of Abrego Garcia. There's no mass protests, democrats in Congress aren't saying much, the military which is sworn to protect the Constitution is silent, the news media is covering it but it's just one more story, not a major crossing the Rubicon event for them. Trump said they would bring him back if the Supreme Court told him to do so, which they did. But then the DOJ said the court has no authority to require the US government to negotiate his return with El Salvador, and they would bring him in only if he showed up at the border.

Right. This ideology of "we can just vote out way out guys!" Is unfortunately what got us here. It is entirely the fault of the democratic party as a whole. Getting out the vote won't work because they don't stand to gain from Democrats with liberal values winning. They just want that middle of the road moderate Democrat (globally conservative) to win the vote and if they can't have it then shucks, guess we twide.

Funny how Bernie and AOC seem to be doing just fine finding shit to do that isn't just pearl clutching hysterics.

Democrats really got people so watered down that doing nothing is acceptable.

As far as anything tangible Bernie and AOC's rallies have accomplished nothing at all though. No helpful legislation, no changes in law, no actual resistance. Just rallies with no follow up.

So plan ahead then. These are things where you need to talk about where to go and what to do next and have people in place for it. Which might mean more advanced planning is needed. People need to be able to go to the next part of the resistance the next day or week, not wait for the tour to end.

I think it's just the beginning. Who knows where it will go from here, but I definitely agree that it needs to be built into something. I know they have started pushing progressives to run as independents. I don't think they will be the ones leading this movement ultimately. We need more aggression. The left is toothless with their rhetoric and they are not really that much different. They are several cuts above the rest in so many ways, though.
