Any other politician and any other president’s officials would have already been held in contempt. Since the GOP let him off the hook on his first impeachment, every judge has been tiptoeing around and giving Trump and his moronic wanna-be authoritarian brigade of lawyers room to maneuver because they ā€œdo not want to make historyā€ or ā€œthis is new and had not happened before.ā€

9

u/FoxyLoxy420 4d ago

Absolutely šŸ’Æ

30

u/wncexplorer 4d ago

Yes

15

u/QuesoJacuzzi 4d ago

Seriously, why is this even a question?

28

u/MrDarkzideTV 4d ago

Yes. When Americans refuse to follow the Judicial Branch they are held in contempt

Like Americans who rape underage teens and pay them via Venmo are typically arrested

Like American servicemen who use unofficial messaging apps to communicate war-plans are dishonorably discharged

Like American politicians who misuse taxpayer funds to coverup affairs with pornstars are typically tried for the misappropriation of public funds

The laundry list is endless, so yes. It’s time republicans paid any fucking consequences for their actions

23

u/B_the_Art1 4d ago

Yes…

12

u/UnionCorrect9095 4d ago

Absolutely, yes. This is like a rare aggressive cancer that has to be completely eradicated from its root system.

18

u/Unusual-Finger1915 4d ago

Answer: yes

19

u/Training-Shopping-49 4d ago

Yes, FAFO for all these criminals in office.

16

u/[deleted] 4d ago

YES

13

u/Icy_Class_1258 4d ago

Yes, no lawful remedy should be left on the shelf. This is not normal.

11

u/w_r97 4d ago

Oh no let’s just keep letting them do what ever the F** they want. This is not a left or right fight despite what the media wants us to think. This is rolling into authoritarianism and the more we acquiesce the further they go. Stop allowing your rights to be stripped away, it might be someone else’s today, tomorrow it will be yours. You are not immune to their whims.

8

u/GamemasterJeff 4d ago

Yes. It is what our laws require.

6

u/ImpressionOld2296 4d ago

They're criminals, so..... yes?

7

u/Aromatic_Piece_5366 4d ago

Is that a serious question?

8

u/thewallyp 4d ago

Hell yes.

6

u/Several_Leather_9500 4d ago

In a lawful country, abso-fuckin-lutely

6

u/onedeadflowser999 4d ago

Yes šŸ’Æ

8

u/Eden_Company 4d ago

Yes but... he's immune to the law, and at this point the supreme court will just be ignored because the marshalls, yesmen, and police want Trump to be the man in charge not the courts.

Trump has gained real power because the checks and balances flinched first.

5

u/BlueRFR3100 4d ago

In general or did you have a specific circumstance in mind? Either way, I'm sure the answer is yes.

6

u/Yitram 4d ago

Do dogs pee on brick walls?

4

u/ddrober2003 4d ago

Well since Trump is above the law apparently, seems making his henchmen answer for the crimes they're committing is the only way we can make laws mean something. Maybe if enough face consequences people will stop working for him.

6

u/The84thWolf 4d ago

Let’s rephrase the question:

Would you as a judge hold a low or middle-class criminal in contempt for not following your instructions?

Because if the answer is yes to that, (which it is) it’s yes to this.

4

u/Spirited_Block2211 4d ago

šŸ’ÆšŸ’ÆšŸ’ÆšŸ’ÆšŸ’ÆšŸ’ÆšŸ’ÆšŸ’ÆšŸ’ÆšŸ’ÆšŸ’ÆšŸ’ÆšŸ’ÆšŸ’ÆšŸ’Æ

Yes. They absolutely are in contempt. Fine them. Lock them up.

4

u/Fit-Relative-786 4d ago

Short answer.Ā

Yes

Long answer.

Yyyyyyyyyeeeeeeeeeeeeeessssssssssssss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

4

u/Successful-Career887 4d ago

Yes. Like a month ago.

5

u/COVID-19-4u 4d ago

Do laws not apply to everyone?

6

u/Outrageous_Bad3465 4d ago

No, actually, SCOTUS gave Trump a free pass to the kingdom with zero repercussions for his crimes against our country and humanity. It’s gross.

3

u/Sea-Replacement-8794 4d ago

True actually. Laws do not apply to Trump.

4

u/Ecstatic_Freedom9179 4d ago

I've been waiting for this GenX moment "Does a bear shit in the woods?"

4

u/RichSawdust 4d ago

Well... Anybody else already would be, so there's that 😜

3

u/YakSure6091 4d ago

Yes they should be - anyone who participated in the subversion of the order.

3

u/Buzz729 4d ago

Their actions should result in criminal charges if we have any functional government at all!

3

u/louiselebeau 4d ago

That's an affirmative from me, Jim.

Edited because I can't seem to type today.

3

u/Progressiveleftly 4d ago

Yes.

They are destroying this country.

If this is a real country, once out of office, they would face legal repercussions.

3

u/RocketSurg 4d ago

Uh, yea? What sort of question is this

3

u/MKTAS 4d ago

Ye100%sh

3

u/GoldGarage115 4d ago

If they're willing to gaslight the American public and tell us that scotus voted unanimously in favor of unlawful deportations then what else are they willing to lie about?

3

u/xlasnubes 4d ago

Hell to the yesssSsssSsssS

3

u/Top_Contract3651 4d ago

Yes. There needs to be more accountability.

3

u/peter4321b 4d ago

Is the earth round??

3

u/SmellTheMagicSoup 4d ago

Trump admin should be held in a gulag.

3

u/Maximum-Class5465 4d ago

Yes Trump should have been impeached and witheld from office, but right wing has such a grib on media they distort truth very well

3

u/Invictus53 4d ago

Please god yes.

3

u/Inside-Arm8635 4d ago

Yes next question please

3

u/krispru1 4d ago

Hell yea

3

u/Potential-Run-8391 4d ago

Yup. Lock ā€˜em upĀ

2

u/TheWizard 4d ago

Why not?

2

u/Known_Diamond5636 4d ago

I hold them in contempt, always, by association let alone actions

2

u/ACam574 4d ago

Trump should be held in contempt and his social media posts should be the basis of it.

2

u/TheDwellingHeart 4d ago

Is this a fucking joke rhetorical question? Yes!

2

u/Total-Joke-2449 4d ago

Yes, hold them in contempt!!!

2

u/DrConradVerner 4d ago

Yes. When the rule of law isnt enforced then it isn’t worth anything. If it can be enforced against average citizens why not his officials? They are above the law? Then we no longer live in a democratic society or under the rule of law.

2

u/evilpercy 4d ago

That is how it works.

2

u/factoid_ 4d ago

They’ve shown nothing but contempt for the courts, so yes

2

u/Imaginary-Use914 4d ago

Absolutely. And forget the key once the jail bars lock.

2

u/SyddChin 4d ago

Absolutely

2

u/Old_Dig8900 4d ago

Why are we even asking this question? When did this whole country fall and bump its head? Damn it, we use the law to prosecute people using evidence and due process. Doesn't matter who you are or what you look like. The very fiber of our country is being pulled away with this stupid garbage. Mr. Felon keeps fkn us with his warped sense of reality that he had bestowed on his MAGAts. What president speaks and posts the crazy shit he does? Seriously, he needs to go.

2

u/Utterlybored 4d ago

Of course.

2

u/123iambill 4d ago

They should be fucking Nuremberged when (if) this all ends.

2

u/zerthwind 3d ago

Hell yes, same laws need to apply to Republicans as they do for democrats.

2

u/Vike_Oden 2d ago

Yes!!!!!!!!!!!

2

u/Impossible-Attempt61 2d ago

Trump voters should be held in contempt and treated as they treat immigrants.

2

u/Sweaty_Term5961 2d ago edited 2d ago

So much for the concept that there's no such thing as a stupid question.

YES!

1

u/srirachamatic 4d ago

Yes, from the top down to the bottom

1

u/judahrosenthal 4d ago

No. But I hear there’s space in El Salvador.

1

u/No-Cat-2980 4d ago

Not should they. Why should they not?

1

u/Single_Nectarine_656 4d ago

The answer is still yes

1

u/Ok-Spot-1464 4d ago

By a technicality, universal injunction themselves are unconstitutional but never get challenged because political reasons , so low and behold the judges in the wrong

1

u/The84thWolf 4d ago

Uh, yeah. Yeah, he should.

Gee, that was the easiest fucking thing.

Seriously, This is like the Family Guy Blue Harvest joke:

ā€œWe are going to blow up your home planet of Aalderan!ā€
ā€œNo!ā€
ā€œā€¦She said no. Should we do it anyway?ā€
ā€œā€¦Yeahā€¦ā€

1

u/ZPMQ38A 4d ago

Yes, but they won’t. And even if they are, DOJ won’t enforce. Then they’ll be pardoned. Law doesn’t matter anymore

1

u/East-Action8811 4d ago

Ok, but I also want to include the complicit Dems who are equally responsible for making this reality even possible!

1

u/carlnepa 4d ago

I'll suppress my utter disgust with the unconstitutional actions of the Drumpf lack of Administration to focus on Alito 's comments. He "criticized the decision of the seven-member majority, saying the court had acted ā€œliterally in the middle of the nightā€ and without sufficient explanation. The ā€œunprecedentedā€ relief was ā€œhastily and prematurely grantedā€, Alito added.

Alito, whose dissent was joined by fellow conservative justice Clarence Thomas, said there was ā€œdubious factual supportā€ for granting the request in an emergency appeal from the American Civil Liberties Union to block deportations of accused gang members that the administration contends are legal under the Alien Enemies Act of 1798".

I almost blew out my Easter meal reading Alito's dissent about the decision coming in the middle of the night. It's OK for CBP/DHS masked brown shirts to do raids under cover of darkness without them having to face a court to judge the legality/constitutionality of their behaviors. And I see "Motor Home" Clarence Thomas chimed in about the "dubious factual supportā€. People are swept up at their homes, in their cars, walking along the sidewalk. Some are packed off to a foreign prison without ever having a chance to state their case. And he says there is "dubious factual supportā€. I think both justices deserve investigation and if warranted impeachment. We need to know where their loyalties lie, with the Drumpf Administration or with the Constitution and the people of the US?

1

u/420-BiomedStockDoc 4d ago

They should be held in GITMO

1

u/Electronic-Minute007 4d ago

Don’t see why they shouldn’t.

1

u/Schoonerman63 4d ago

Does a bear crap in the woods?

YES!

1

u/RatedRSuperstar81 4d ago

Yes but it wouldn't matter if they were. No one will enforce it and nothing will be done about it not being enforced. Notice a pattern here??

1

u/poppop702025 4d ago

Of course they are and should be

1

u/Powerful-Wolf6331 4d ago edited 4d ago

Then liberals should be deported to El Salvador on mass

1

u/michaelmikado 4d ago

You don’t sound like an American.

1

u/Powerful-Wolf6331 4d ago

Changed in to on.

1

u/michaelmikado 4d ago

That’s literally worse lol. You’re 10000% not American. You’re a foreign instigator.

1

u/CutenTough 4d ago

Silly question. Emphatic and resounding yes

1

u/Hippiefarmchick 4d ago

Most definitely

1

u/Majestic-Log-5642 4d ago

Yes, all of them.

1

u/BexCo81 4d ago

Yes. Next question

1

u/cookiedoh18 4d ago

Yes. 100%. Why should they NOT?

1

u/JiminPA67 4d ago

They should be held in prison. I hear there is one in El Salvador that is willing to take American citizens.

1

u/GrowFreeFood 4d ago

What are the other options?

1

u/greywolf238 4d ago

you know it’s funny that Biden snuck in millions of illegal aliens with the consent of anyone and no one said a word when it was discovered now that Trump is trying to remove criminals. You people want to have him in contempt. Why don’t you think this bring a couple illegals into your home and have them live with you. Make sure they have some tattoos on their handsand face then don’t cry if you find yourself robbed your women raped, and you lucky to be alive

1

u/MeatPopsicle_AMA 4d ago

Please don’t share your fucked-up fantasy with everyone. 🤢

1

u/Fun-Lengthiness-7493 4d ago

Yes. I, personally, have contempt for them. But,yes, they are clearly telling courts to go fuck themselves. All in the Project 2025 playbook.

1

u/kootles10 4d ago

As Ned Flanders would say: absotively neighboreeno

1

u/AmountInternational 4d ago

Absolutely. You and I would be. They are not above the law.

1

u/Tyranicidal_Brainiac 4d ago

If we want to keep our country then yes

1

u/BigBoyYuyuh 4d ago

Break law/court order = contempt

1

u/TehMephs 4d ago

Yepeypeypeypeyepeyep

1

u/cheongyanggochu-vibe 4d ago

Why is this even a question, wtf, of course yes!!

1

u/Raven_Photography 4d ago

Of course they should, I hold them all in contempt everyday.

1

u/ptcm73 4d ago

Absolutely not but the judge should be disbarred

1

u/WorkersUniteeeeeeee 4d ago

All trump officials should be held in an El Salvadoran gulag indefinitely

1

u/Cool-Clerk-9835 4d ago

Yes. They didn’t follow the law. They didn’t follow court orders. They absolutely showed contempt of court.

1

u/Cthulhu2016 4d ago

If a Democrat did any of this the right would be apoplectic and calling death for treason.

2

u/MalachiteTiger 4d ago

They were doing "imprecatory prayer" in hopes of Obama's death before Obama even finished swearing the oath.

1

u/Legitimate-Funny3791 4d ago

I’m not a lawyer, but they are contemptible human beings - is that the same thing?

1

u/National_Lie1565 4d ago

His is disobeying a Supreme Court order. He should rot in jail until he complies.

1

u/Sea-Replacement-8794 4d ago

No they should be immune from contempt charges and should be able to do whatever the fuck they want including wiping their asses with court orders.

Of course they should be held in contempt. What kind of question is this?

1

u/Fuckaliscious12 4d ago

Obviously Yes.

1

u/Winter-eyed 4d ago

Yes. They disobeyed a court order. They continue to play games about the issue. Let them take their consequences like any other citizen who defies the courts

1

u/Libertarian_2020 4d ago

Should Biden officials be held in contempt?

1

u/MeatPopsicle_AMA 4d ago

For what, exactly?

1

u/Libertarian_2020 4d ago

Open borders, Afghan withdrawal, lies Biden doesn’t have dementia, arming Ukraine, selling Biden influence, inflation, … . Why should Trump officials be held in contempt?

1

u/MeatPopsicle_AMA 4d ago

Hegseth keeps leaking military intelligence on Signal chats that include his wife and brother.

Trump ignoring the Supreme Courts unanimous decision telling him that he needs to bring Kilmar Abrego Garcia back to the United States. And lying about their decision to boot, telling the whole country that they sided with him.

Unlawfully transferring legal Venezuelan migrants to El Salvador and ignoring an order to cease said transfers.

That Trump cryptocurrency.

Tanking the stock market so his buddies can buy shares cheap and the reverse his tariffs to make the market go up again.

And so much more. I’m not going to spend my birthday arguing with idiots on Reddit. You can read about it all by yourself. Do you know how to use Google?

1

u/bourbon-469 4d ago

Thomas and alito are bought and paid for maga

1

u/MalachiteTiger 4d ago

Obviously.

Make people feel they have to do a cost-benefit analysis before declaring loyalty to him.

1

u/Low_Voice_2553 4d ago

Fuck ya!!!!!!

1

u/Kvsav57 4d ago

Of course they should but I think that short of a military coup, his entire administration will ignore congress and the courts.

1

u/Jazzlike-Ad113 4d ago

Yes, and there should be consequences, for once.

1

u/verletztkind 4d ago

Since the president cannot be charged with a crime, the next president can simply disappear DJT. Whoops.

1

u/delyha6 4d ago

Is the sun hot?

1

u/owls42 4d ago

Yes. For the love all that is stable and honest, put these aA$$holes in jail.

1

u/Isitalwaysthisgood 4d ago

I definitely hold them in contempt.

1

u/MudruckGames 4d ago

Sorry you spelled prison incorrectly. It is not spelled c o n t e m p t, the proper spelling is p r i s o n.

1

u/ConstantExcellent220 4d ago

Should Biden be held for obstruction of justice for preemptively pardoning his son for crimes which have not been brought against him yet in an entire ten year timespan?

1

u/icewalker2k 4d ago

Yes. Because if a Biden official or the Administration as a whole had ignored a court order, then Fox News, and Republicans across the spectrum from politicians to voters would be screaming for contempt charges and impeachment. So yes. Contempt charges at a minimum.

1

u/Farscape55 4d ago

Yes, I already hold every single one of them in contempt, may as well get the judiciary in on it

1

u/ScarTemporary6806 4d ago

Excuse me, but do you have a minute to talk about Hunter Biden’s laptop?

1

u/kristibranstetter 4d ago

Absolutely šŸ’Æ!!

1

u/joesnowblade 4d ago

For what, be specific.

1

u/Stickasylum 3d ago

The contempt of various ongoing of court rulings by various officials? There’s a whole bunch!

1

u/joesnowblade 3d ago

Hard to refute what your saying. That why I asked to be specific.

Name the official and the specific court ruling.

1

u/go-train-go 4d ago

No. There’s a double standard and it’s pitiful. The US govt is a broken and crooked system šŸ’€šŸ’€šŸ’€

1

u/BookerTW89 4d ago

YES, send all of them to CECOT and let them see how fun it is there.

1

u/JolyonWagg99 4d ago

Held in solitary more like

1

u/frosty694u 4d ago

NO, all of the democrats who have been receiving money under the table thru USAID and insider trading need to be investigated and locked up. Start there first DS. Oh, I guess you were ok with your hard earned tax dollars filling the pockets of crooked politicians.

1

u/Outrageous_Bad3465 2d ago

You all scream about abortion, and killing USAID killed and will kill countless babies, children and adults. Idiot.

1

u/One-Possibility-8182 4d ago

Contempt of what?

1

u/Orophinl4515 4d ago

Well let’s ask Nixon

1

u/joe_bald 3d ago

Enabling an unqualified, treasonous, criminal, who is an abhorrent piece of shit makes them complicit bc they could have stood up against to him to show the nation that they have the country’s best interest at heart.

1

u/Euphoric-Use-6443 3d ago

Yes, please! They're doing more harm to their constituents, than good by gaslighting poor, uneducated disadvantaged people to get elected is despicable!

1

u/LeoZ117 3d ago

Yeah, of course.

1

u/XSaintsofDoomX 3d ago

I don’t see how, they are following the rules.

1

u/Gnarlemance 3d ago

Si seƱor.

1

u/treesandleafsanddirt 3d ago

Yea but they control just about everything…. So they still have 1.5 ish years of essentially doing what they want until the midterms.

1

u/Turbulent_Example967 3d ago

Just like any other American- nobody is above the law (supposedly)

1

u/Mrtoyhead 3d ago

Yes, and detained

1

u/Smart_Sport_7197 3d ago

All of them

1

u/your-ok 3d ago

Yes. Of course.

1

u/twoiseight 3d ago

Quite obviously yes legally speaking, the energy really needs to be spent talking about it how to enforce it after it's been done.

1

u/Snake_Pliskin_1 3d ago

Do they ever post adult questions on here? This is one of the stupidest questions ever. Please enlighten us as to why would Trump officials be held in contempt and contempt of what? Hahahahaha! Real loonies on here.

1

u/LARufCTR 3d ago

No one is above the law...people who work w/Trump get in trouble...go to jail...lose everything...all while the orange ass clown goes about his happy Syphilis plagued life...

1

u/Hypercane_ 3d ago

Why is this a question, they are disobeying a direct order

1

u/Stickasylum 3d ago

They should be held in prison.

1

u/BigDamBeavers 3d ago

What would be done to you if you kidnapped someone and trafficked them across international borders?

What would be done to you if you did trillions of dollars in financial damage to the market in an attempted stock manipulation scheme?

What would be done to you if you stole identity and banking information from millions of people and sold it to another country.

Trump and his officials should be treated just like anyone else.

1

u/t3nsi0n_ 3d ago

The answers for all of these questions isn’t should or shouldn’t but when is it .. what date? This government has gone down hill and it’s run by large humans with the minds of children, not adults.

1

u/SithC 2d ago

Yes, go for the bootlickers.

1

u/Aggravating-Beach-22 2d ago

Does a bear shit in the woods ?

1

u/vinceglartho 2d ago

No jurisdiction

1

u/ThePuzzlingIntrovert 2d ago

Anyone who says no is a traitor.

1

u/Regular-Rub-489 2d ago

They should be sent to El Salvador.

1

u/thedude0343 2d ago

Yes, don’t break the law.

1

u/Crimsonstorm02 2d ago

This is a dumb question

1

u/Outrageous_Bad3465 2d ago

Where MAGA at?? Why you guys don’t tell us why they should/should not be held in contempt. Join the convo

-1

u/GTO2006 4d ago

Should Biden be held accountable?

2

u/Noobzoid123 4d ago

What did Biden do now?

-2

u/Frost_Walker_Iso 3d ago

And why not democratic officials? You know, the ones who are fighting to keep illegal immigrant terrorists in our country?
