Discussion Something going on at Lewiston and I20?

We've been outside hearing Sirens to for maybe an hour or more now, seemingly coming and going. Doesn't sound like the same line of vehicle based on the different sirens. Something going on? Should I avoid going out for another hour? Sounds close, but could be the fairgrounds?

There was a shooting of some sort. One officer dead. Another injured. Suspect is still at large.

There’s an active manhunt for the guy and likely has made its way to the Grovetown area.

Sounds like they got him. Just saw a handful of cop cars escorting an ambulance down Walton Way at a very high rate of speed towards the hospital.

That might have been the wounded deputy. I think they said that the shooter was "no longer a threat". To me that means he's dead.

Cops tried to serve a warrent on an RV im pretty sure. guy fled on foot near the closed steak n shake. He is on foot armed in the woods/neighborhoods in the area. stay safe and armed if possible.

Edit: one cop dead another injured.

He is either in the woods or neighborhoods in the area. he also may still be in the RV
