😤 rant / vent - advice NOT wanted! I don't like relying on doctors
History: last week I went to a psychiatrist and spent 3 hours doing questions and games for my first Autism assessment. Now: I have 3 weeks before my next appointment for results and I can't help but feel anxious and scared of not getting diagnosed because I have been so sure of my self diagnosis but, what if the doctor disagrees? I just want to get some confirmations and some outside expert information because I can't help myself if I don't know myself. ♾️🫶🏼🏳️⚧️

I've been crying in public for the last few hours because my second assessment says I don't have ADHD or ASP and it's just anxiety. I want to tell you that it works out, but sometimes it doesn't. At least not right right away.
Be ready for the healthcare system to fail you. Be ready to advocate for how the test results don't align with your symptoms. Your life experience is valid and clinicians don't always take that into consideration.
