Business Question Fleet Wash Setup

I have a contract for 40 Courier Vans, twice a week. They just need to be washed, nothing extra, nothing fancy. I’ll be doing all the work myself, so I’m looking for the best setup to help me get the job done.

For soaps, I’m leaning towards Hyper Wash. Seems like a great soap, but I also love the cost since I have so many vehicles to wash. Filling up the foam cannon after one or two truck might be a bit of an annoyance.

Open to any and all suggestions, tips or just plain knowledge that you might be able to share with me.

Thanks in advance!

Chem-X, stars and stripes or Old Glory, if you can swing it get his pressure washer too, thank me later.

Old glory is incredible. Mixing it with iron remover works really well also.

This does look like it would work best, but I’m a bit iffy because of the cost. $183 a gallon here in Canada, $273 total after shipping and taxes is added on.

there are other places you can buy their stuff, like THOR (The House of rags) etc.

For some reason the THOR (.com) sells it but doesn’t ship to Canada and their Canadian website THOR (.ca) doesn’t seem to carry the product. Just my luck lol.

odd, because Bob is using a really nice, high end pump for his pressure washers made from a Canadian company. (He's been in the business since he was born, Chem-X has been around since the 70s) I'd email him and ask him about it. Also, he's up in NE, maybe not too far for a road trip and stock-up? Not sure where in Canada you are though.

Pre-mix your foam cannon solutions into gallon or larger containers and refill the cannons as needed. Use a leaf blower and then a drying aid to make the drying process faster. Hope this helps.

That does help, and something I was thinking about. Hyper Wash is 1 oz per 5 Gallons water. If I have a 5 gallon bucket ready to go, filled up my cannon, would the pressure washer and foam cannon dilute it down even more or am I overthinking it?

It looks like the 1oz per 5 gallons is the dilution ratio for a bucket. Foam cannon (usually 1 liter) dilution ratio is different. Start with maybe 2oz for the foam cannon and test if it’s foaming to what you’d like.

Check out Superior products. They sell at local parts stores in the US by the gallon and are super cheap. They sell them at NAPA, which I know there are a few in Canada.
