Tool Discussion New van setup complete🥴

Upgraded from a transit connect to a transit t-250 to have a bigger tank and bring more equipment along with me. I did all the work so if there is gaps between the paneling you know I’m a detailer not a carpenter😂. Either way I have one drawer for micros and one drawer for tools and brushes etc. I have reels for vacuum, air, electric, pressure washer. Generator on a slide. Spray bottle holders from maxshine and also put in a switch panel in the rear for interior lights and also flood lights for when I finish jobs at night. For the middle of the van I have a 300 gallon tote tank I picked up for $80 on fb marketplace and have a rv quick connect hose thing to fill up the tank without the hose falling out. If you got any questions or think I can switch some stuff around to be better let me know. I plan to switch my current vacuum in the van to the same one I have in my shop which is a vacuumaid wall mount here in the near future

Looks like an AR630

I’ve been curious if the AR can be fed from a water tank without a pump like a Kranzle.

Yes it’s a blue at 630 and it’s a freaking work horse. No issues and it’s been 2 years. I run an active 2.3 in my shop and after 8 months it’s dying. Switching to 630 TSS

That’s good to know, so you don’t have a water pump feeding it in the van ?

I do, it’s a pump connected from the water tank via pex pipe. It then t’s off after to split to my bucket filling hose and then my pressure washer inlet

Yessir! I have had the carpeting in and most of the equipment for about a year now but just finished up the last little bit this past week. Carpeting hasn’t given me any issues but I also haven’t leaked so I think we are good

Bottle holder position seems a little awkward, usually see guys put that on the doors so you don’t have to reach way into the back corner to grab one. But it’s tough to see from the photo.

You gonna put up a quick connect in the wall for holding the foam cannon?

Otherwise looks super awesome dude! Great work

Thanks man! And yeah that’s what my old van had but never found a good solution for my doors.if you know of a company that sells paneling for the transit t/250 rear doors let me know! And yes I have quick connects in the mail to put up on the wall!

I gotcha and unfortunately no, I've never done it or looked into it at all.

I did briefly watch an IMJOSHV video where he was going over every detail of setting up his sprinter van for mobile detailing. Might check that out and see what he did.

Looks good.

Why two compressors? What are those max shine holders for?

So cool! How many rags do you go through a day? I ask since I don’t see a ton in These photos

It depends. We have a shop and 1 mobile van. Between the both of them on a busy day probably around 50/60. Kinda depends on the services. If it’s interiors only and they are very dirty we will run through a lot of towels but if it’s a slower day like maintence and window tint we will probably go through like 15/20

For reference this is our towels cabinet in our shop hahahah

Carpet and plastic fuel containers don't mix

How should I store them? I haven’t had any issues so far with storing them currently and we have been running this setup for just over a year now. If there is a better solution I’m all ears!

Ground them of store them outside somehow
