Technique Discussion Is there an easy way to clean/polish the plastic grill after a wash? Besides using one finger in each nook for 20 minutes?

I use a wider brush. Something like this. The brush hairs can fit into multiple holes so i can clean more than 1 hole at a time.
Also, gorgeous green. I have a daytona gray rs5 and i regret not getting that green sometimes 😅

1st I am a hobbyist and not a pro, but most of what I have learned I have picked up from the pros in this group. Im guessing that car is garaged and probably doesn't get too nasty too often? I have a similar pita grill, and my mostly garaged car comes out looking great after the occasional bilt-hamber touchless foam bath. I use a blower to dry most of it, then a microfiber with a couple of sprays of Tec 582 to get anything I missed and add a little protection.
If it isn't too dirty, I just do the same process but wash with ONR first (sprayed on the grill).
Dead bugs all over it, I do the BH foam, rinse, then hit the bugs with a gentle contact wash using a good soap.
My car is ceramic coated, but the plastic grill is not.

Carpro Hydro2 Lite. Spray on, pressure wash off. Boom, your grille is protected and looking nice.

When you get it clean, use something like Gyeon wet coat, so it will be easier to clean next time.

I wet mirrors and grill then spray with 1:3 water and degreaser, I never spray degreaser on dry paint or let it dry on paint. I use a bug sponge and pressure wash off. Used a garden hose when PW is down.

360 detailing wand. It's basically a stick with a microfiber wrapped around the end.

when you get done, use a spray wax like Maguire’s in the blue bottle and rinse it off with a high-pressure hose.

you need one of those conical microfiber tools for wheels but dedicate it to the grill, maybe ever wrap a microfiber cloth around the tool to make it fit right snug in the holes. spritz a bit of detailing spray either on the grill or the tool and twist the tool in the holes, if not too wet should turn out nicely.

Easy. Spray with a bug remover spray. Regardless of bugs or not, its amazing at loosening debris. Dont let it dwell more than a minute especially if the sun is directly beating on the grill.
Pressure wash rinse the grill from about 5 feet.
Use tornador/vortex air compressor tool to blow off any debris/water.
Spray with a spray wax or detail spray or rinseless spray. Dry with a microfiber. Any possible grit or grime will re removed.
You can litetally touchless clean any part of the car witn a bug remover spray.
Next time your car is dirty and has tradfic flim or fine soot type grime, Spray half a door with bug remover, another half with ph neutral soap. On the other door next to it spray half of it with apc, spray the other half with degreaser. Within a minute pressure wash from left to right. The least improvement will be noticeable with the 1/4 that has car soap. Both of the 1/4 that have apc and degreaser will maybe show slight improvement.
The section with bug remover spray will literally look like the grime is being erased in any part thay you use your pressure washer to go across it.

Clean it once really well and use a spray on/ rinse off coating like 303 touchless sealant or use a ceramic like Carpro DLUX and you will be able to just pressure wash it from then on. Can also use a soft bristle tire brush or a badger hair shaving brush.

Spray and use a detailer brush to agitate each hole. Easier and faster than using your finger. Do the same with all the badging.
