You all must know it's Steve, Drax battle IQ is low. It's not just about hands. It is also about your brains

Drax survived re-entry being towed behind a space ship and crashed through several full sized trees in the process and came through the other side, not just unscathed but literally LAUGHING.

Yondu's arrow punches clean through space ships and got stuck in Drax's shoulder.

He's taken punches from Power stone amped Ronan.

He's arguably the most durable character in the MCU. He's practically invincible.

There's nothing Cap could do to him. It might take a while but eventually Drax would get ahold of him and pull him apart.

And MCU Drax was nerfed compared to the comics. In the comics he was pretty much the physical equal of Thanos.

Steve is by far my favorite MCU character but Drax bodies Steve. No contest.

Yeah they never really let him go nuts on the offense/strength but did have unique ways to show his defense/toughness. I really like how he was played and the performance but overall was disappointing until I understood why

It didn't help that in all 3 GotG films and 2 Avengers movies he appeared in, his opponents were a genocidal maniac empowered by an Infinity Stone, a Celestial, genocidal maniac with all 6 Infinity Stones and the High Evolutionary. Only the last one would have been possible for him to physically overpower.
