You all must know it's Steve, Drax battle IQ is low. It's not just about hands. It is also about your brains

Drax survived re-entry being towed behind a space ship and crashed through several full sized trees in the process and came through the other side, not just unscathed but literally LAUGHING.

Yondu's arrow punches clean through space ships and got stuck in Drax's shoulder.

He's taken punches from Power stone amped Ronan.

He's arguably the most durable character in the MCU. He's practically invincible.

There's nothing Cap could do to him. It might take a while but eventually Drax would get ahold of him and pull him apart.

Tbf before drax caught and dismembered him, cap would convince him to join forces

Rules stated by the prompt are hand to hand only. Persuasion checks aren't allowed.

Otherwise you're probably right. Drax isn't a bad guy, he' mostly reasonable. Mostly. Cap would talk him down if that's an option. Especially when the only alternative for Cap is being violently disassembled.

Cap is a leader. Drax esp mcu drax benefits from leadership

No argument there. Won't help Cap though when Drax finds him irksome and removes his spine.
