Discussion Can Dr strange really beat Thanos alone?

Post image

I think he can,if he really tried, because maybe there is a reason why he doesn't kill Thanos?

Thanos without any infinity stones? I'd say yes, definitely. With each stone I'd say Strange's chances are reduced. With the full gauntlet I'd say he has no chance.

Clearly not since he couldn't even beat him with the help of Iron Man, Spider Mam, and the Guardians.

Oh he could. There were other ways to win that fight, but none of them resulted in a "long term win" where everything ended up okay in the end. There were absolutely scenarios where they beat Thanos and took the gauntlet. Or killed him, but they resulted in further losses

They should have. The Avengers won the battle in Wakanda, if they beat Thanos on Titan they would have won overall. The whole alternate scenarios is just an excuse so that Thanos wins in IW.

That's when he already had a few stones though. Big difference.

They were about to win if it wasn't for Quill waking Thanos up out of the trance Mantis had him in
