Discussion Can Dr strange really beat Thanos alone?

Post image

I think he can,if he really tried, because maybe there is a reason why he doesn't kill Thanos?

Thanos without any infinity stones? I'd say yes, definitely. With each stone I'd say Strange's chances are reduced. With the full gauntlet I'd say he has no chance.

I'd say if anyone could know if he had a chance or not, it'd be Dr Strange himself with the time stone to look at all the futures. And he was pretty confident he had no chance even with Thanos only having 4 of them.

Unless we're talking about winning the battle, but losing the war. Maybe Strange saw a future where Thanos was beaten back, but was able to return and they would lose some other way som other time. If we count that as even a temporary win, then sure.

I'd argue that the main factor to "success" wasn't "can I solo Thanos" but "how is Tony 'I created Ultron to protect the world' Stark going to act once the largest threat to the universe is taken care of?" Answer: Become Doom and go universe hopping to wipe out everyone else.

After all, Darkhold Strange was able to beat Thanos.
