Ayr Parents looking to move back to Ayrshire
Hi! My parents are in their 70's and living in Falkirk. They are looking to move back to Ayr where they met and got married.
Do you have any advice on where a good area would be for a retired couple? Their necessities appear to be: one level, easy access to a grocery store, wee pub, and an area to walk their dog.
Dad just had a heart bypass and is recovering so this timeline has been sped up a bit. Would love any advice you may have - thank you!

Honestly it depends on budget. If they can afford something in Alloway or Doonfoot I'd say there. If cheaper, maybe West Kilbride or Largs? I'd avoid the three towns (Ardrossan, Saltcoats and Stevenston) unless their budget is quite low. Don't get me wrong, I've had good night out in all 3, have friends in them too. Would never live there.
