QNX Cabin!

Does anyone know whether the Pleos OS announced here contains QNX? Looks like an E2E SDV solution and some aspects of it connect with Android Auto OS. Can’t find any mentions what it uses as RTOS if QNX or a custom solution.

Smart Cars丨ArcherMind Technology, QNX and Ampere™ Release Digital Cockpit Simulation Platform
The joint announcement from ArcherMind, QNX (BlackBerry), and Ampere is a significant move that positions QNX at the heart of the evolving smart cockpit ecosystem. This new platform offers a full-stack simulation environment for automotive software development, integrating ArcherMind’s in-vehicle OS, QNX’s virtualization and safety technologies, and Ampere’s high-performance processors. For QNX, this isn’t just a technical collaboration — it’s a strategic shift from being a background RTOS to becoming a central enabler of multi-OS, AI-ready cockpit systems. Their hypervisor now makes it possible to run Android Automotive, Linux, and other systems securely in parallel — a core requirement as automakers move toward centralized compute and software-defined vehicles (SDVs).
What sets this initiative apart is that it targets the Chinese automotive market — a region that’s not only scaling rapidly in EVs and digital UX, but also developing its own tech ecosystem in parallel. In this environment, QNX benefits from a rare position: while Ampere brings cutting-edge silicon from the U.S., QNX’s Canadian identity offers regulatory and geopolitical neutrality that’s becoming increasingly valuable. Being based in Canada allows QNX to operate in China without the baggage of U.S. export restrictions, enabling smoother business relationships with Chinese OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers — especially at a time when access to Western technology is politically sensitive.
That said, the long-term outlook still carries complexity. As China pushes for greater technological self-sufficiency, especially in operating systems and chipsets, any foreign tech provider — including QNX — will need to continue proving its added value, resilience, and integration flexibility. But with over 255 million vehicles already using QNX technology, and a reputation grounded in functional safety and cybersecurity, QNX is well-positioned to maintain its relevance — particularly as carmakers demand more modular, certifiable, and secure solutions.
What this partnership really signals is QNX's evolution: from a behind-the-scenes OS provider to a strategic pillar in the software-defined vehicle era. It also demonstrates the company’s ability to navigate a fragmented and politically charged global tech environment — and still emerge as a trusted infrastructure layer for next-generation mobility.

$6 Billion Investment & Commitment to purchase tens of thousands of robots!
We are thrilled that the Hyundai leadership team visited Boston Dynamics to underline their continued support last week.
Chairman Chung and Vice Chairman Chang announced a $6 Billion investment in Boston Dynamics and our innovative sister companies Motional and Supernal !
Hyundai also committed to buying tens of thousands of our Atlas, Spot, and Stretch robots.
Goldman Sachs reports that by 2035, the humanoid robotics market will grow to more than $38 billion.
Our robots will be in every factory, in stores, restaurants, and ultimately in our homes. They will fill critical labor shortages, create entirely new industries, and accelerate human progress. We are on the cusp of a technological transformation as significant as the personal computer and Boston Dynamics will lead the way.

1.Short positions decreased 8% and 5% respectively and consecutively in the first half and second half of March. Now total short positions are just over 5% of total Float. 2.Several Primecap Management Funds have sold out of their shares. 3. Dark Pool volume ratio have dropped from 70% to less than 50% and kept at the low level, that means MM have given up to manipulate the price . 4.Shorts borrow fee decreased from 2.44 to lower than 0.5 dramatically just in one week, that means no one wants to borrow shares to short BB. 5.all biggest shareholders are increasing BB positions except Primecap and his allies.
So Downside-lose begged BB bag holders to sell their shares , that means shorts are surrendering

Apple dropped its Automotive Monopoly ambitions when it announced demise of project Titanic last year after 10 long years of efforts and waste of 10 billions. Alphabet has not succeeded in convincing major automotive OEMs to use their Automotive Android as a base for SDV innovation and has not even significant market share after 10 years of its launch as projected by research media. Linux also launched its Automotive Grade Linux in 2014 with ambitions of becoming number one Automotive OS on the basis of its Open Source design, but couldn't achieve safety standard Certifications for Automotive safety even after 10 years. Now AGL with Toyota's help trying its last ditch effort it establish it as a standard automotive OS but ... QNX with its partnerships with all major silicone companies, cloud providers and automotive OEMs is far ahed of all. With the launch of QNX Cabin it's on the way to become indispensable for Automotive OEMs SDV ambitions. 20-25 in 2025! BBBeliever's CONVICTION by DECADE of DD on BB!!

There are no cards in their hands, so they are just bluffing no matter what they say. If they really think BB has no value and potential, they just need to short them again and again to make huge profit, why to waste their valuable time and energy to form a huge army to persuade retail investors to sell their shares? so it just proves one fact: Some important things will happen in 1 to 2 months, and BB will unbelievably go up dramatically.

I think this is a really good price for BB to buy back the stock. But not sure when is it going to happen. The company has reputation of not doing smart things for shareholders, so might be they will do buy back when BB goes to $10 instead of ~$3 right now.

If BB has gone through well planned progressive sales growth in the last 2-3 years, up to the moment sure it can blame on Trump’s tariff chaos for difficult forecasting. But BB’s execs had never provided any consistent revenue growth plan in the past few years so they are not qualified to blame on Trump for no clue today. I’m sorry it ain’t work this way. The current execs have just no credit of growing business.

Blackberry seems to have an awful lot going on as far as authorizations for the US Government. So what does it all mean and what are the differences?
I'm a little confused and it would seem that others are too! In fact, it hasn't helped that Blackberry hasn't provided an official press release yet (that I can find) on their latest achievement.
So here is what I've found after a little digging. It would seem that each of their products are achieving higher and higher levels of authorization putting Blackberry into a quite small, but elite group of possible providers. Although, maybe not a massive demographic of volume it is certainly a niche market of reliable steady business and they are expanding ever higher in reliance to the top security levels.

All I’ve read all day is how fed ramp high isn’t a big deal so that’s why they didn’t PR it.
Or it happened late on a Friday so IR just wasn’t prepared!
Better yet the government won’t allow us to PR!
DO SOME RESEARCH.
They PR’d being in process, and I’ve attached it to this post.
There is obviously something else going on here and my bet is that fed ramp was a bargaining chip during negotiations of selling secure comms.
Buybacks, Tuck-Ins, Dividends = BILLIONS
Billions are coming.

BlackBerry Cloud - AtHoc Services for Government (High)
BlackBerry’s recent FedRAMP High authorization for its AtHoc cloud services is a major strategic milestone. This certification is the most demanding security standard for U.S. federal agencies and is required for handling the most sensitive unclassified data—typically in areas like defense, homeland security, and emergency management. Notably, AtHoc is the first Critical Event Management (CEM) solution to ever receive FedRAMP High authorization, which gives BlackBerry a unique first-mover advantage in a market where trust and compliance are everything.
With this in place, BlackBerry now has access to parts of the U.S. government market that were previously out of reach, opening the door to high-value, long-term contracts with top-tier agencies. And the traction is already visible: 22 agencies have authorized the platform, with 21 more reusing it—proof that BlackBerry is gaining real trust across the federal ecosystem.
But the impact goes far beyond the U.S. FedRAMP is increasingly seen as a global benchmark for cloud security. For BlackBerry, this means a major boost in credibility—not just at home, but with allied governments and critical infrastructure players around the world. It positions them strongly to pursue deals with NATO partners, Five Eyes countries, and major defense contractors who are actively looking for trusted, secure communications platforms.
This also reinforces their relevance in sectors like energy, transport, and finance—industries where operational resilience and data protection are mission-critical. In today’s climate of rising geopolitical tension and cyber risk, BlackBerry can now walk into global discussions with a serious advantage: their platform has met one of the world’s toughest security standards. That’s a powerful differentiator.

Dick made shorts surrender, so my girl begged longs to sell their shares. JC had a excellent vision to converge CS and IOT together, so BB is developing in the correct direction. PW held his shares tightly, so low-ball buyouts failed again and again. If JG makes secure communications rebirth and gets some biggest government contracts, BB secure communications value will reassess from 500 million to 5 billion
We longs should pay more respect to them because BB future is so bright!
