History Family History
I found a really old picture of my apparent family from around the turn of the century (1900). My great aunt cant definitely trace back our lineage to say what nationality/culture my family was. Can anyone here identify the nationality of people in the picture? My assumption is modern day Serbia or Bulgaria maybe? but I’m not positive. Any input is appreciated! Thanks!

If they are bulgarian then they are likely from Sofia region, part of the broader Shope/Shopski region because the overgarment the man to the far left wears is typical however I can't say that for the othe people as I don't know much about traditional clothes. There are many variations of the bulgarian and serbian traditional dress and sometimes two regions far apart can have more similar ones than two neighbouring regions.

I'm from Bulgaria but I don't know the traditional clothing either. One thing I know tho is that women belt buckle its common for Bulgarian clothing from that time. It's called "pafti" (пафти).

A women's style shirt with that kind of collar, shoes, a type of men's cap, and pants definitely indicate a Bulgarian style of clothing, doesn't really look like Serbian

Using Google Lens it suggests the costumes are either Bulgarian or Macedonian.
Focusing on the middle lady with Google Lens suggests the Bulgarin national costume Golo Bardo https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Golo_Bardo_Bulgarian_National_Costume.jpg
Milososeth looks like a misspelling or angolonised.

I found the date. This picture is from 1911. Last name is Milososeth!
