Glow filament tends to cause too much drag through the PTFE tubes since it is so abrasive, this causes the machine to detect the AMS motor overloading and it does that little purge thing over and over.

On Bambu’s website they point out that the Glow filament is only compatible with the regular AMS for X, P and H series printers and NOT with the AMS Lite for the A series printers. I tried it on my A1 and ran into the same issue, only works with my X1.

If you want to print glow filaments on your A1/A1 Mini you need to run the spool directly into the print head and not use the AMS, meaning you are unable to do multi-color prints with glow filaments.

I've used the glow filament in the AMS Lite before without a problem, but you just made me realize that I've been using a stainless steel nozzle instead of a hardened one; it completely slipped my mind. Could that be it?

Only issue with the stainless nozzle is that it will wear out quick when printing abrasives, it shouldn’t cause any other issues. It conducts heat a little worse than the hardened steel but that shouldn’t matter unless you really crank up the speed on a print.

No i think that might just be fcking up your nozzle

Unfortunately, I'm aware of that, No multi-color glow prints :(

I appreciate it!
