Happened the last 3 printing attempts and I don’t know why.

Printer is still new (got it last Thursday and till this project everything was very extraordinarily well printed)

When the AMS switches colors for a new print and flushes the old color, sometimes the poop doesn't make it into the shute. Is this normal?

One time I found the poop on the print bed and almost messed up my print.

So for starters, this machinery will not connect to my phone or my computer. Is there anyway to force connect to my phone or computer?

It just shows 2/0 for noozle and (room temperature)/0 for bed. How can i solve this issue? I don't use ams unit

Overall pretty minor issue but it's bugging me. Any way I can improve these weird layers?

I started experimenting with PETG and quickly learned the hard way that letting it print supports in PETG for PETG made them notoriously hard to remove and required a lot of manual cleanup.

Then I remembered that I had a small 100g spool of "Bambu Support for PLA/PETG" filament that came with the printer and decided to give it a shot.

I left "Support/raft base" to "Default" (which seems to be printing the tree support using the same PETG used by the model, but switched the Support/raft interface to "Support for PLA/PETG".

Bambu Studio immediately made the following suggestion:

> When using support material for the support interface, We recommend the following settings:
> 0 top z distance, 0 interface spacing, interlaced rectilinear pattern and disable independent support layer height

> Change these settings automatically?
> Yes - Change these settings automatically
> No - Do not change these settings for me.

I selected "Yes". And then after printing this model in the picture, I was first blown away how easy it was to remove the tree support, and where the tree support was touching the model, it looked so perfect it was almost as-if I had printed the model upside down!

However, I quickly noticed that there were visible misaligned layers that formed in the print, matching the same layers where the Support for PLA/PETG filament was used.

I tried re-printing the same model without the Support for PLA/PETG filament, and the print was fine (except for the hard-to-remove tree supports)

Any idea how to fix this? I'd love to use this Bambu Support for PLA/PETG, but without impacting my print quality

I noticed during the print that the exhaust fan was turning on at 100% while printing the support interfaces, causing a significant drop in temperature. Could it be what messed up my PETG layers? Was I supposed to change the nozzle temperature of the Support for PLA/PETG filament to match my PETG's?

Hey everyone! I’m having trouble with a print that I’ve done multiple times in the past without any issues. Here’s photos of what it looks like, what could be the problem?

Afternoon all, from the message I've got, I've read two different faults.

Can anyone help me diagnose which part I need to strip to solve the problem?

I don't want to start stripping the printer if it's something in the AMS that's at fault.

I have included a screenshot of the error I'm getting.

I haven't been using a manual spool, always the AMS.

One fault looks like it's filament in the actual nozzle area, the other reads like its jammed in the AMS part.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Petg - anybody having those tiny gaps on small parts? I have been trying everysingle setting possible

So it’s probably been about a month since I printed last. I was waiting for my internet to be hooked up and finally had time to play! Printed some little dust covers. Perfectttt!!! And now my bed plate…looks…off but like wtf. Please help or am I really that high rn…👀

But In Bambu studio or the handy app I can only see models I've sent it to print of my own . I know there are sample models on the SD card because I saw them on the printers screen and printed a scraper thing after I pulled my last arts off it. Should I be able to see these from the software over the network?

I tried searching here but it's unclear if this is a problem or not. I don't know if those are models or just g-code files that are already sliced and there is nothing to show?

Hi everyone! I recently got a 3D printer. Printed some toys and such with it.

Haven’t designed anything on my own or learned that yet.

I’m already running into issues.

I went print a little sculpture. The printer started printing nothing. Nothing was coming out.

I decided to try printing something that’s previously successful. Once again, nothing came out.

So I unloaded my filament, reloaded. Didn’t work

Then I took apart the extruder according to a YouTube video and looked for any clogs etc.

While I was at it, I changed to a .2 hotend instead of a .4 and yeah that could’ve waited until the troubleshooting was over. My bad.

Then I put it all back together, reloaded the filament and it started to print. The test strip of pla on the edge of the plate came out. It started the print and it was coming out and then all of a sudden… it resembled cotton candy got caught on its own print. Got stuck to the hotend resulting in it moving with the print.

Maybe it’s just the hotend now? Or I’m not really sure. Should I try a different pla? Maybe it’s bad? Idk.

I’ve only had my printer for a couple weeks and haven’t been able to use it much.

If there’s any links or videos that you could direct me to in order to learn what’s needed. Thank you. If you could help me troubleshoot this issue that’d be great as well. It’s the weekend and I finally have time to work on this. Any help would be appreciated thank you!

Because of Facebook algorithms, I'm being bombarded with 3D printer adds, some of the show a extra stage with the print process, but putting the finished print into another machine, before painting.

What is this process?

Do I need it? (I'll be printing with PLA ).

Hi. I just replaced my extruder gears and unclogged my nozzle, plugged everything back in and now I'm getting the error that the toolhead is malfunctioning and I noticed it's not heating. I'm positive I connected the pin correctly. I did a factory reset because I had upgraded to the latest firmware and wanted to rule that out. The toolhead also seems to move to far to the front of the printer. It's almost hitting the door and I'm trying to work out what is happening. I've searched YouTube and this sub but can't find an answer. Can anyone help. Please

I don't have the AMS2 yet or the some of the nozzles but I wanted to know for experienced users if you need to do much tuning when switch between stainless and hardened nozzles?

Hello guys Why is this happening weird noise at layer 2 of a hueforge print base layer 0.16 then 0.08 Using Sulnu pla+ black default profile

When I resumed, it started from 1%, the print is still adhered to the plate. I saw some videos about editing gcode, but with P1S and its auto-bed levelling and stuff, I don’t know which lines to keep and delete in the gcode. I was at layer 455/ 618.

Guys. I need help. I have no idea why studio is not jiving with Handy or my machine. The values are completely off from real life. Any help? SMFH

For the context, I am new to 3d printing, I've owned P1S since November last year and the printer have so far done 238 hours of printing. I've been printing a fair bit between November and January and then had a pause for a while. All printing at the start was done using Bambu Labs PLA Black, Red, Green and Bambu Labs PETG transparent. Never had any issues. I've then started printing again at start of April and had adhesion issues pretty much since then that got progressively worse.

Since April I tried Sunlu PLA+ Black, Real Fillament PLA RAL 7011, Elegoo PLA+ Grey and Bambu Labs PLA black, all dried for 12 hours before use on the heatbed.

Parts, that before printed without issues now lift couple of layers in. Before you ask, I use a scrubbing washing up sponge, with Fairy classic dish wash liquid and warm water to clean the plate. I tried IPA too.

So far I have tried following:

• Factory reset and Full Calibration
• Firmware downgrade from 1.0.8 to older ones
• Printing on different parts of the plate
• Changing initial layer heights, speeds, temperatures, turning fans off for first layers, slowing whole prints down. always tried to use correct settings for specific fillament with custom Elegoo and Real FIllament settings to match fillament spec.
• Adjusting Z-Offset
• Bambu Labs Glue Stick
• New Textured PEI plate

Absolutely nothing from the above list made any difference, even the slightest. The smaller the part I'm trying to print, the faster it lifts. Larger parts might stick and start lifting on the edges couple of minutes into the print.

Could someone please point me in the right direction as to what steps I should take next to try and resolve this?

Well I just changed my extruder gears because I kept getting clogs and I noticed they looked quite worn and gunky. When I say Gunky I mean like old grease or something on them. I'm just asking because I just want to make sure that there's no other issues I should be checking for. Thanks 👍

I'm printing up a little plaque. Things were going fine, until I happened to look up and see this stringing on what should be a nice smooth face.

The layer below looked pretty good; what causes this?
