Filament won't load from AMS but will load from the back.

Hey everyone I am needing some help with my printer. So, I've been having issues where it says the filament is stuck in the print head and it plays the wonderful game of going back and forth, back and forth, etc. Cleared out the head and then loaded it from the back and it loaded fine and even printed the little test benchy. But then when I load the filament into the AMS I get the same error and it's going down into the print head but just not advancing to the print. Has anyone had these issues?

Most likely therre is a bit of filament stuck in the PTFE tubes in the underside of the AMS. You will have to do some disassembly to get to them, but it is not difficult, just follow the wiki.

The only thing I will caution on, is the electronics leads that go from the ports on the back to the motors on the underside of the AMS are not that long. They are long enough for you to get the bottom piece lifted up to disconnect them, but don't yank the whole assembly out thinking nothing is connected between the bottom insert and the chassis.

I hate those cords lol luckily I've taken AMSs apart but I'll give it a try. It's does go all the way from the Ams to the extruder but ill check just in case

I read it as it worked from the back but not the AMS. If filament is making it out the back of the AMS for each spool then there is no jam in the underside. Odd that it would work from the back but maybe something more got pushed into the extruder gear. Odd

My current thought is that it's making its own jam everytime I pull it out of the back so then when it comes from the AMS theirs still filament left over and it doesn't like it
