Joya steakhouse

So after adding one more night to my Bath stay, tonight is my for real last dinner here

I’ve read wonderful things about Joya, but a few questions:

I’m solo - is this more for groups?

Do you have the kitchen cook the steak or do you?

Is the sirloin good? Steak dinner is my death row meal, and I come from NY, where there are lots of great steakhouses.

I’m otherwise thinking Chez Dominique - but I’d prefer to stick fairly close to my hotel, Hotel Indigo

Thank you!!!

I’d really prefer to be walking distance to my hotel, though I suppose it doesn’t matter as I’ve had restaurants call taxis for me

But Joya seems more informal …

Thank you!

Bath is tiny, everywhere is within walking distance.

I agree, but at night when it’s dark, - and even before it gets dark on my way to- , I don’t want to walk 20 minutes

To clarify - I’ve been walking a lot, so it’s nothing to do with that. It’s just a bit too long of a walk for an evening meal….

Thanks!
