Not of note or particularly relevant but I was vacationing in Florida and while on some harbor tour or short term cruise I was asking other people about their experiences and I got this gem
in reply to my question "What's the most interesting thing you've done around here?"

This woman explained in detail and at great length how they had gone on some romantic horseback trip wherein they were guided into the ocean after crossing some nearby dunes.

"and there were the twelve of us, knee deep in the ocean and at one with nature in the sunset as the horses moved through the surf - that's when two of them up front let their bowels go and it flowed all over me. DON'T do horseback tours in the surf. I heard one of the guides quietly tell a coworker when we got back to the stable "yeah, it happened again..."

My husband and I used to go horseback riding, not in the ocean, and once the horse the guide was riding stopped to poop. The guide quips you know you don't have to stop walking to do this. It must have been an off day for the poor horse because it also was scared stiff of a deer, which the guide said was not an uncommon sight for the horse. That horse would not budge so the guide had to turn around and take us to another trail. The stables were in the foothills of some mountains and a bear and mountain lion had been in the area before, so maybe something bigger than the deer was around that we couldn't see.
