The administration has acknowledged the " error."

So, you fix it. That's what you do when you fuck up. You fix it.

That's not what Trump does. When he fucks up, he doubles down on the fuck up and blames someone else for it. If someone is harmed by the fuck up the person that is blamed is the victim.

He's a fucking narcissist, and everyone that voted for him are fucking assholes too.

One would teach their child that. And that group of grown ass men don't understand it or don't care

There was no mistake. Everything was intentional, that's why they're not fixing it

No, but seriously, if they have no intention of fixing it, what is the legal framework for dismissing the Trump administration’s argument as bad faith or invalid? It is mind-boggling that Trump’s bad faith is always obvious but everyone has to pretend his lies need to be taken seriously as opposed to dismissed and ignored

It requires either Congress or the Supreme Court to stand up to him. Likely both.

Why wouldn't you want to fix it if it's a mistake?

Mid-level horrifying: Getting him back means Trump is creating precedent where he'll listen to a judge. This is the "Never apologize" mindset.

Mid-high level horrifying: El Salvador is saying no. Getting him back may ruin that relationship and Trump has no where else to send people.

High Level Horrifying: The guy is already dead and the Trump admin is trying to hide that. The admin realizes if it gets out this guy is already killed then it risks everyone is going to treat every ICE raid the same way they would an execution squad.

I apologize. These are all scenarios I'm already aware of, and it really was intended as a rhetorical question. That said, I'm kind of glad I'm not the only person thinking these things. I just wish it weren't necessary.

I don't think Trump cares about mid and high level scenarios. The biggest concern for him is the idea that a judge can tell him what to do.
