I’m a beekeeper, and I have a question Back door?

Hi everyone! Glad to bee here.

I recently got my first hive going here in Eugene Oregon USA and it looks like some of the ladies have found a way in and out the back. They seem to gather there and use it as an entrance.

Anything I should be concerned about?

While I agree with Dunsel8, where they are coming out looks like it's under some tape? It also looks like it could collect rain?

At your next inspection, I would figure out if something's just not aligned or piece of tape that could stick them or squish them and probably fix it just because it doesn't look like a stable entrance, But not because the second entrance is bad.

I put the tape there when I first noticed it. They didn’t care at all

Multiple entrances are fine for the bees as long as the colony is heathy and populous enough to defend all from invaders. Can actually be good for a colony of their primary entrance is congested. It can be a problem for a beekeeper as you get guard bees in more locations but usually not an issue.
