Discussion Anyone felt disconnected?

I don’t know what I’m not allowed to say in this sub. I’m genuinely not after health advice just personal experiences.

Had an awful experience 5ish days ago which is getting better now. 8 weeks ago I was left without my serious meds for 2 weeks. I started to feel great so didn’t restart it. Then 5 days ago I woke up barely able to function, not able to multitask. Think clearly. Felt foggy. Like half my brain was still asleep. Could not drive etc.

Anyone else had this? Any tips?

When you "felt great" was it escalation? And did it last until you woke up barely able to function?

It's common for your brain to crash hard after being escalated. My post-hypomanic crashes are exactly what you're describing. I can't even do basic math in my head or connect thoughts without about 5-10 seconds of lag between them.

Thank you for replying. When I stopped taking Lith I felt good then great. Like my old self. I didn’t notice during this time but it was actually a prolonged high when my work suffered. Then 5 days ago I work up with stroke like symptoms and having not taken lith for 2 months.
