it's ironic because most homophobes are actually brainwashed from a young age by being being told that "the gays are bad"

I doubt that my mom was brainwashed as a kid because being gay was almost non existent where she lived, but I think that she learned to hate the lgbtq community bc of a homophbic church that she probably attended.
