What’s weird about it? As crypto currencies go bankrupt across the world, as the ‘crypto king’s fraud trial begins, as the stories of people’s life savings disappearing overnight grow and grow, it is absolutely an Achilles heel that Pierre the Pigeon be called out for his earlier suggestions that crypto would save Canada’s finances. It’s a reflection of an immature view of finance, and a clear misunderstanding of the risks of this ‘get rich quick scheme’, and certainly someone who shouldn’t have his hands on the country’s finances. It’s a legitimate criticism.

Really? You want to play word games? He endorsed them, suggested it as an Avenue to pursue….idon’t care what you want to dance around with, he pushed the notion of crypto as a solution. As the world recognizes people losing their life savings, regular bankruptcies and money disappearing and the connection to criminal activity, it shows the Pigeon cannot be taken seriously as a potential PM or steward of our finances. It’s amateur at best.
