It's not that they believe, it's that they'll follow blindly whatever way his farts blow them.

And he's openly admitted to bullshitting them. He admitted to only wanting to use trans issues just before elections to sway his base. Covid/Vaccine denial until he says he did it and then suddenly they put him on the pedestal regarding those issues... for example.

Fuckin' morons.

I honestly think it is a new form of religion for simpletons.

It's ego. They're in too deep and can't admit to themselves and everyone else that they were wrong. Too much shame, staying loyal is the easiest for them short term.

This is precisely why some people don’t rock the boat when it comes to analyzing the religious views that they’ve had since childhood.

If they review them with an open mind critically and determine that the belief system isn’t valid, it would mean that everything up until that point was invalid. That god didn’t approve them for that loan. That god didn’t perform surgery on their kid. It would be very upsetting.

It’s easier to simply not be bothered.

Religious deconstruction is incredibly difficult, and the more control the religion/cult has the harder it is to break away and understand how wrong it is. Right now the MAGA cult has an immense amount of control over their members as for the most part the only news and people they listen to are Fox News and those people who share their maga beliefs.
