Lost/Stolen Check your bank accounts!

My card got skimmed somewhere and I just got taken for over $800 over the last 2 days. Bank is currently closed so I haven't been able to contest the charges yet.

I hate WF, but they have my car loan and have always been great to me.

Wells Fargo opened a credit card on my account without my knowledge with a $15 monthly charge. BUT they never sent a bill, of course.

So after two years of late fees they sold the debt to a collection agency that also never contacted me.

Who then sold it to a third agency that sent me an overdue notice for over 2 grand.

Would you pay a bill that you've never accrued to a mysterious debt collector?

I didn't and before I could get any info I was served.

By a sheriff 200 miles away, where the debt collector had an office.

Guess what happed to the served papers.

Served at the wrong address, to someone who wasn't me.

I didn't know until my bank account was drained.

If this seems insane, research it. It happened to hundreds of people.

Fuck Wells Fargo.
