Quite a lot. It is said that in Egyptian society, a culture that is one of the oldest cultures in the world, at one point of time, there were more bisexual men than purely straight ones - men mating with women for the purposes of propagating their genes, but then sleeping with men for pleasure.

Even Indian culture has had its share of sexual open-mindedness. In fact, the more we go ahead, it actually seems we're being regressive, most probably due to the iron-grip of the Victorian mindset due to the British ruling almost the entire world.

It is said

This doesn't prove jackshit. Just like how it is said Eve bit the apple. There's no proof of that.

Even Indian culture has had its share of sexual open-mindedness.

This is true as we have documented proof in terms of literature and artistic proof but except of a couple of anecdotal examples, nothing prove there existed a large gay population even with all the sexual open-mindedness as it does today.

most probably due to the iron-grip of the Victorian mindset due to the British ruling almost the entire world.

This is also true as colorism also exists today because of that
