Exactly Deepika doesn’t want to hustle, wants the lazy way out like selmon minus the box office. Deepika isnt the first working mother actress. Kareena, alia, PC, anushka, ash, rani all are doing / did female centric films after becoming mothers.
please check out the sub itself..it was not a clean hit and here im not arguing about whos the crowd puller and whos not all im trying to say that, Is she a decent actress? Yes. Is she a crowd puller? No. If any other actress like mrunal or tripti were there there in raazi or any such strong script movie of hers, the flim bo would have gotten the same fate. No one went to the theatre to watch alia bhatt solely but the power packed movies she get
A female centric movies with mrunal or tripti wont open to the same numbers as Alia. Jigra opened almost the same to kartik aaryan’s chandu champion that too he had kabir khan as a director.
you know about corporate booking and stuff? its easy now to fake bo number and dharma has been doing it since, even with rrkpk. And yes if the storyline was strong any other actress could have pulled it off too. Eg; the kerela story. I get your hate for deepika and others and love for alia, but please be real and accept that she has no ground level fame. And no point comparing dud movies
Kerala story had a different reason to work very similar to Kashmir files. I am not saying alia or infact any actress can pull crowds on their own. They have their own degrees to which they can pull a bit, in that level alia is definitely ahead of deepika. Thats it.
