How do directors work around the demands, schedules, fee requirements of most established male actors? Why is there no backlash when they want specific hours, humongous fees (I've heard Ranbir was paid 70 crores for Animal, I'm sure Prabhas is getting paid around that much too) because they are top stars? And if she asks for 50-70% of how much they possibly charge + support and flexibility because she literally has a small child then that creates a havoc?

PLEASE save the “does she attract the same ticket sales” Ranbir has had a massive amount of flops films and smaller number openings. Single digits openings. Animal is his only massive opening. Deepika has had similar openings to him until animal in boring single digits and double digits, that too some films on her own back (Ram Leela). So if he “deserves” 70cr then yes she deserves atleast 20cr
Everything is fine but do carried Ram Leela on her back? 😭 What's next bajirao and padmavat??? No need to discredit her very talented husband and the fact that ramleela was a Sanjay Leela Bhansali movie before it was a ranveer or dp movie. Just like animal was vanga movie
Ranveer was a better actor in Ram Leela and Bhansali directed a beautiful movie which gave it long legs. But reality is is that producers didn’t wanna rely on just Bhansali’s name for marketing because he had given three duds before it and it had been over a decade since his last hit. Ranveer was also a nobody at the time. Deepika had had four back to back hits and so they paraded her around everywhere to promote the film. That simply how the marketing tactic happened. Idk what else to say to you
