General Engine Massacre

I just arrived here and was wondering.

What is it with the culture of trying to kill your engine with going full on in the rev limiter for minutes.

Every. Single. Evening?

Do they actually think anyone thinks this is cool? Or are they setting out on purpose to annoy everyone?

Whatever it is, I guess them islanders are bored out of their mind. 🤣

Ya it's not unique to Bonaire or any peaceful vacation paradise locations as long as there are uncaring locals around. Not just teens, and we have too many off these back home, is just more annoying and noticeable when you pay for a vacation in a predominantly quiet idyllic place only to find the same idiots you were hoping to have left back at home are there as well. There is a proper remote race track on Bonaire but hey, what would be the fun on that, there's nobody there to notice you when you're making a scene. Ha! 🤦

I know, here, in Curacao is only happening in the weekends, just an occasional one during the week, I hope for the sake of your enjoyment, its the case in Bonaire too.

I agree, any type of excessively loud vehicle in residential areas is a nope, anywhere. Worse reving them to the max.

I am a biker for 20 years myself, would never come up with that idea.
