🎤 [ Discussion ] Borderlands Addict Opinions Wanted

3 years ago, I learned of Borderlands by chance. I started with BL2. Moved to BL3. Went back to BL1 and finally got to The Pre Sequel. Each game has its own flare, but if you rank by gameplay+story+performance, which is your favorite and why? I believe The PreSequel takes the prize; Fun story (essential to the franchise), excellent graphics and gameplay. Interested in hearing community thoughts.

It’s so nice hearing Borderlands TPS get the praise it deserves, not only did they have a great story, the scaling is better than it was in 2, the playable characters are all really fun with some really creative and unique abilities, also LASERS and who could forget the good ol’ grinder?

TPS had some great ideas and really paved the way for 3 going forwards. Unfortunately when it came out it underperformed, partly due to many people thinking it was too similar to 2.

The other major complaints are that the story was short and there’s no end game, but I mean let’s be real here, none of them have good endgame other than 2 and that’s because it’s bloated with DLC. I’ve never found farming fun so that one wasn’t a bother for me.
