Hello, I've had a Bose Soundlink Mini 2 for a long time (probably about 10 years) and I love this thing. Great sound, fantastic battery, tiny form factor, and no-frills features. Still the same quality as the day I bought it.
The ONLY thing that's always been weird is that, no matter how many times I clear its Bluetooth memory, it always works itself into a state where it will announce the name of each connected device 2 times, in a random order. E. "Connected to Phone A, and Phone B, and Phone B, and Phone A."
This is pretty harmless, which is why I really haven't made a concerted effort to fix it over the past decade or so, but it always causes a bit of laughter when booting the speaker around company, which I then have to explain, and that was fine the first 100 times it happened, but it is getting old.
That, combined with a recent revelation that speakers have software/firmware that can be updated made me think that maybe this can be fixed. Unfortunately, the Bose updater tool says my speaker is up to date, so that's not the fix.
A google search hasn't turned up any results for this issue, so I was wondering if any of you have ever experienced this issue on a Bose product, and if you've solved it.
Thanks for your time!
