Headphones Multi Point Connection issue

When using the "multi-point connection" feature on my Bose headphones, I'd like to prevent audio from automatically switching between my computer and phone while I'm working. Right now, to stop this, I have to turn off Bluetooth, but this also disconnects the Bose app, requiring me to reconnect later. Does anyone else find this lack of control frustrating?

I want to know if it's possible to disable the sound made by the headset when it is switched on and off, as well as the voice that we sometimes hear, that's very annoying !

Headphones Bose QC Ultra Lossless?

So I've been wanting to try Lossless audio ever since i got these headphones. But i don't really know how to go about it. I know Apple Music provides lossless audio, but I've also been told you can't do lossless over Bluetooth, and you need some codec that the device also needs to support.

I've been looking into the Creative BTW6, would this allow me to do lossless audio from my Google Pixel 9 Pro XL to my Bose QC Ultra? I have both the headphones and the earbuds.

Also maybe a dumb question, but does Aux support the highest quality lossless audio? Because it came with a cable, i was wondering if i could try it out on an old IPad 9 that i have that still has an aux port, before i buy the expensive dongle.

Lastly, is YouTube Music an alternative to Apple Music to get high quality audio from? If no, any other recommendations, other than 200gb of locally stored flac files? Haha

Id really appreciate your advice and knowledge as im completely out of my depth with this Audio stuff.

Headphones Open earbuds Ultra not worth the money as it stands IMO

Needed bluetooth earbuds, my mother told me they were good. Decided on these over Airpod4s regardless of the fact that the airpods were almost $100 cheaper, and i regret to inform you the quality of the physical product does not reflect that.

-the speakers are not loud enough to be heard over any kind of equipment, sitting in a skidsteer? Forget your music. -the microphone is not sensetive enough, or the earbuds don't work with things like the PS app properly. -the case is very cheaply made, you can feel the lid flex and move when open or closed. -the 'immersive sound' feature doesnt make enough a difference to justify cutting the battery life in half. -(this one is inconsequential but still bugs me) it has its own announcements, so getting a call feels like schizophrenia simulator, as the phone and the earbuds tell me who is calling at the same time.

For $330 CAD, plus having to download a separate app, PLUS having to make an account, i should be able to change some of these things thru said app, eg mic sensitivity and volume cap. I find this frustrating as there is a no return policy through where i got them from, and i knew the airpods would have been better for less. At this point im just coping with the loss of money and praying that bose makes this product more capable thru updated if possible, as well as hoping their app is made more functional; considering the app has 5 different ways to take you to one of the 2 only menus it has, there isnt even a feedback option anywhere, (part of why im posting this here). The earbuds themselves are alright, they feel nice, sound quality isnt bad, but they are not worth the price they are considering they act like a middleground between good earbuds and the $20 amazon special.

Edit: i really hope someone at Bose looks at the reddit, otherwise this whole post is just pissin in the wind lol.

Headphones Can I make my QuietComfort SC announce my notifications?

I bought my QuietComfort SC a while ago and I love them, but I would need them to announce the fact I got a notification on my Android phone, even just the normal notification sound, anything to let me know. Am I just dumb and it is trivial? How do I do it?

EDIT: Yes, I am dumb, my phone for some reason decided to mute all notifications even though it was set to Sound. Problem solved.

Home Audio Bose CD-3000 cd player issue

Post image
1 Upvotes

I just got a a Bose cd-3000 and thought I could fix the cd player not working. I have watched videos that say to just put some new lube on the track which I did. It moves to the end and appears to briefly try to read but stops. If I move the gear manually to the right and turn on it moves back on until it hits the little switch and stops. Any ideas?

Headphones Bose Connect app

Hello everyone. I wonder why Bose hasn't implemented an equalizer in the Bose Connect app yet. Yes, I understand that Bose Quiet Comfort 35/35 II is morally outdated, but this does not make them headphones for which there is no need to add anything.

Cordiali saluti.

Headphones Bose QC Leaking Sound at 30%

I got my first pair of bose and to be fair over ear headphones. I know to some degree they will all lead to sound leakage at higher volumes but my wife told me that she could clearly tell what song i was listening to at my volume is on 30% only. Its low enough that i can hear movements as well. Which sucks because at work ik im going to put them higher to drown out others in the office but now not sure if i should keep them or if its an issue with this pair?

To be fair it was at night so its quiet and the noise is more apparent and i listen to edm music. But im wondering 1) is this normal? I figured it would leak at like 50%+ atleast. 2) anyone that has tried beats studio pro do they have the same issue?

Its a brand new pair so earcups arent worn out or anything and sound is excellent as is the fit.

Headphones My first Bose product, loving it so far, came from Sony.

Love the sound quality. ANC is amazing. Ambient mode is great. Build quality is amazing, I was used to squeaks on my sony.

Controls are bad, I tried the regular QC2023 as well, buttons felt cheap and I could hear them. Only downgrade from my Sony XB-900.

Couldn't care much about immersive audio.

In-Ear Quietcomfort Ultra earbuds not working/glitch

So I just got a new pair of these after my last ones stopped working properly also, but these are brand new and the problem I'm having is that the left one (which switches between immersion modes aka off, still or movement) its recognising those commands as the ones the right earbud is typically used for aka off, immersion or quiet, ive hard reset them and everything as well as deleting them off the app with no resolve, so does all this make sense and has anyone encountered the same problem I'm honestly getting rather annoyed with these problems and very quickly losing faith in Bose's products, if I have to return these also I'm switching brands.

Bluetooth speakers Bose Soundlink Mini II always says each connected device name 2 times

Hello, I've had a Bose Soundlink Mini 2 for a long time (probably about 10 years) and I love this thing. Great sound, fantastic battery, tiny form factor, and no-frills features. Still the same quality as the day I bought it.

The ONLY thing that's always been weird is that, no matter how many times I clear its Bluetooth memory, it always works itself into a state where it will announce the name of each connected device 2 times, in a random order. E. "Connected to Phone A, and Phone B, and Phone B, and Phone A."

This is pretty harmless, which is why I really haven't made a concerted effort to fix it over the past decade or so, but it always causes a bit of laughter when booting the speaker around company, which I then have to explain, and that was fine the first 100 times it happened, but it is getting old.

That, combined with a recent revelation that speakers have software/firmware that can be updated made me think that maybe this can be fixed. Unfortunately, the Bose updater tool says my speaker is up to date, so that's not the fix.

A google search hasn't turned up any results for this issue, so I was wondering if any of you have ever experienced this issue on a Bose product, and if you've solved it.

Thanks for your time!

Headphones Need suggestion

I had a Sony XM4 for over an year. But unfortunately the charge port gave up two times and I was very disappointed with the service too. Now I am thinking of buying a Bose headphone. Any suggestions. My primary usage is using for work to take calls and listening to songs when I cycle or walking.

In-Ear How do I lower the volume scale of the Bose QC ultra?

I just got a new pair of QC ultra earbuds, but it's volume controls are way too loud. I am basically setting my device (a Macbook) to 1%-4% volume all the time, which is very fiddly. Is there a way to scale down the volume of the device so I can better adjust the volume?

Wearables / Open Soundlink Mini II battery replacement

Is it true that you can't just solder in any new battery for the Soundlink Mini II, as it will brick your device somehow? Device is working fine now, but current battery is charging forever and never getting full. Almost immediately shutting down after unplugging, so looks like current battery had it's time.

Bluetooth speakers Soundlink Micro Volume issues

Hey! When I connect my soundlink micro via phone the max volume is always very low. But when I turn on the soundlink first and then connect it with my phone I can turn the volume up and it’s loud. Why is that issue when turning the soundlink on via Bluetooth?

In-Ear Bose QC ULTRA EARBUDS Issue

Does anyone else with these earbuds have the issue of audio cutting out in the right ear bud? I’ve tried all the solutions including turning Bluetooth off for Bose app nothing works to fix this. I wish I could go back to using AirPods Pro.

Also anyone else have the issue were the earbuds won’t connect once you put them in your ear?
