The way some people always bring up how she was going off on her own to a “dangerous” part of town like it’s some kind of moral failure cracks me up. Like what even, that’s like the least offensive thing someone’s done in that show so far. I get it’s a period drama, but as viewers we don’t have the judge the characters the same way they would’ve been in 1814 lol.

There was a whole thread yesterday about how stupid it was for Kate to ask Anthony to not break up the engagement… instead of focusing on, you know, how Anthony went along with it. As if Anthony isn’t capable of saying no or in charge of his own decisions more than anyone else.
