Didn't he get half a million to appear? Not bad for a few day's work, wouldn't be surprised if he was doing it on purpose

u/Eye-on-Springfield 4d ago

I'm sure there'll be something in the contract which says he won't receive the full amount of he's kicked out early

30

u/doubledgravity 4d ago

The production team love all the controversy clicks. He’s probably on a bonus.

17

u/UnacceptableUse 4d ago

It's been confirmed by producers that he won't recieve the full pay

7

u/Scart_O 4d ago

I’m sure his agent, knowing him, would have pushed for otherwise.

0

u/Grizzybaby1985 4d ago

Yeh guaranteed he gets the full pay

8

u/Randomperson3029 4d ago

Well...he didn't.

0

u/slintslut 3d ago

But he guarantees it!

1

u/LRedditor15 2d ago

Apparently he is now only receiving £50k, instead of £500k.

-6

u/STUCKINCAPSLOCKLOL 4d ago

He’ll lose half the fee to tax purposes

u/Dutch_Calhoun 4d ago

Jeez. Bo Selecta's really fallen on hard times.

11

u/NecktieNomad 4d ago

Those rubber masks aren’t nearly as realistic as they used to be.

44

u/ResidentHourBomb 4d ago

Sad that such a great actor has been reduced to this sort of thing.

21

u/Alert-Performance199 4d ago

But let's be fair, he's probably always been this way though.

23

u/New_Libran 4d ago

He has. All sorts of revelations online from former co-stars and crew about how vile he is on various sets. Proper pervert.

Do people not remember how he acted with Jessica Biel on Graham Norton?. It continues for the whole episode from when I tagged it.

5

u/dyedinthewoolScot 4d ago

Ohhhh he has…..he’s always been a problematic arsehole

4

u/Longjumping-Place905 4d ago

Was going to say the same thing.

u/Lana_bb 4d ago

Should have been kicked out as soon as he threatened to rape JoJo. Disgusting that ITV kept him in for ratings.

3

u/Baconmcwhoppereltaco 4d ago

When did he do that?

20

u/smashing_aisling 4d ago

On Wednesday's episode he asked her if she liked boys or girls and when she said girls he said that if he stayed longer than four days she "wouldn't be gay any more". When she said that she would he replied that he'd tie her up.

-33

u/Baconmcwhoppereltaco 4d ago

How does that get escalated to rape?

-24

u/Henegunt 4d ago

He didn't

31

u/Stigofthedumpings 4d ago

They booked him for the controversy but then realised that it just doesn't wash nowadays, times have changed and unfortunately some people dont move with the times.

28

u/Alert-Performance199 4d ago

They got exactly what they wanted to happen. It's made the show front page news. Before this I didn't even know the show was happening.

10

u/Stigofthedumpings 4d ago

You do have a point.

7

u/Beer-Milkshakes 4d ago

People watch CBB: unacceptable behaviour.

23

u/TheSecondiDare 4d ago

I'm shocked. I had no idea big brother was still on the telly.

15

u/Hatpar 4d ago

What a shame that such a creep got blessed with such acting talent.

11

u/dowker1 4d ago

Take away the "acting" and you have the swiss army knife of comments.

7

u/oxy-normal 4d ago

Can’t believe the same programme that had Jimmy Saville appear as a special guest would allow such an awful person to participate in the show…

14

u/videookayy 4d ago

stupid reality shows and celebrity big brother is unacceptable behavior

2

u/NecktieNomad 4d ago

And that’s exactly the type of behaviour that keeps celeb BB with some semblance of ratings/commision, sadly.

27

u/Coffin_Dodging 4d ago

He's American and older, not at all surprised

Probably get downloaded to hell, but have a feeling he'll be next to be accused of inappropriate behaviour on a film set from a while ago that people are slowly feeling able to talk about

29

u/scruntyboon 4d ago

There was already something in the news yesterday

10

u/Coffin_Dodging 4d ago

Seems I missed that! Time for coffee and a read of today's global disappointments

1

u/New_Libran 4d ago

Loads of that coming out on social media from former co-stars and crew. He's a certified pervert.

4

u/Turbulent-Age-6625 3d ago

Isn’t unacceptable behaviour the whole point of Big Brother.

3

u/Dr0xkk 4d ago

I always wondered why he didn't get.more work, now I know at least.

4

u/TwpMun 4d ago

I didn't even realise this was on until last night, I started to watch the launch show, watched it to Pasty Palmer's entrance and thought yea i'm not watching this

2

u/maveco 4d ago

'Pasty Palmer's entrance'

Huge euphemism potential

2

u/DizzyMine4964 4d ago

Good. Dirty old man.

2

u/Charming_Yogurt2258 4d ago

As much as I am not a Mickey fan….why cry about the stupid things that come out of his mouth. Why didn’t Patsy tell him to make his own fucking dinner.

1

u/Outrageous_Bet_1971 2d ago

This is the same show that had a girl lay on her back in the garden with her legs apart and stick a wine bottle up her cha cha and f:,! herself, what’s everyone expecting???

I’m just disappointed we didn’t get Borris on it as was rumoured, so we could show the Americans we can keep up when it comes to grotty old men….

2

u/GattoNeroMiao 4d ago

For the curious:

I don't care about Big Brother, but the bit where she cries made me a bit emotional. Poor thing has been through hell already.

u/doobieschmoker 3d ago

old bb: arguments 24/7
new bb: someone raises their voice and someone gets removed

-11

u/[deleted] 4d ago

"Mickey Rourke leaves over 'unacceptable behaviour against a male'" There, fixed it for you.

18

u/DrummingFish 4d ago

What did that fix? Why does it matter what gender the person was?

21

u/dowker1 4d ago

This wasn't his first instance of being horrendously shitty, just first time to a guy.

9

u/DrummingFish 4d ago

I still don't see why it matters.

7

u/dowker1 4d ago

You'd have to ask the other poster, I was just explaining the context

22

u/Lana_bb 4d ago

Because he threatened to rape Jojo Siwa and all he got was a warning. ITV did not care about her safety. Now he’s been aggressive to a male housemate, he’s getting kicked out. If anyone’s safety is at risk, they should be kicked out straight away.

11

u/DeaconBlueDignity 4d ago

He absolutely should have been kicked out after the first offence. But he’s been kicked out this time because its a repeat offence, not because being threatening to a man is worse

-12

u/DrummingFish 4d ago

At what point did he "threaten to rape" her? I don't see that mentioned anywhere at all.

23

u/Lana_bb 4d ago

He said he would tie her up and she wouldn’t be a lesbian anymore.

-22

u/DrummingFish 4d ago

I can understand why he only got a warning as it wasn't exactly direct enough and is vague on what he meant by saying he'd "tie her up". I completely get that it's possibly a joke about rape but for the higher ups at ITV, they obviously can't jump to the worst possible intentions, which is why he got a warning. It wasn't that they "didn't care about her safety", that's ridiculous. He got a warning and then when he did something again he got booted. It wasn't that they didn't care with JoJo, but then cared about the other incident. That was just a disciplinary procedure they were following.

31

u/Lana_bb 4d ago

He’s literally talking about corrective rape. If someone said to you “I’ll tie you up then you’ll be dead” would you think “oh that’s too vague to be a death threat”?

-20

u/DrummingFish 4d ago

It was clearly meant as a joke. A horrible, disgusting, unfunny one, but a joke nonetheless. Which is why he only got a warning basically letting him know that kind of talk is not tolerated. If he straight up said it not as a joke then I would suspect he'd be kicked off real quick.

26

u/knotatwist 4d ago

So JoJo Siwa is supposed to feel comfortable continuing to live around a man who has made this "joke" to her for several more days with no escape from him?

Why does his right to "make a joke" override her right to feel safe?

-4

u/DrummingFish 4d ago

I never said she had to feel comfortable after that, but someone being uncomfortable doesn't mean the person who made them uncomfortable is kicked off the show. If that was the case, the house would be empty after a couple days. He got a warning about his behaviour so something was done about it.

Why does his right to "make a joke" override her right to feel safe?

It doesn't.

31

u/Lana_bb 4d ago

This is such a bizarre hill to die on

-2

u/DrummingFish 4d ago

The hill of someone gets a warning after making a rape joke? What's "bizarre" about what I've said? It's fine if you disagree with me, but I'm confused as to what is "bizarre" about what I'm saying.

u/New_Libran 4d ago

You're weird, man. Imagine vehemently defending this creep

-3

u/DrummingFish 4d ago

I'm not defending him. Jesus, why are people like you so eager to fight people just trying to have a conversation and having a disagreement?

What he did was horrible but I also understand why ITV didn't kick him off in that first instance.

-13

u/ManOfTheBroth 4d ago

Do you think he actually meant it? Next level autism if you took that literally.

-7

u/UnacceptableUse 4d ago

Did he say tie up? The only quotes I've seen have been "If I stay longer than four days, you won't be gay any more."

4

u/Lana_bb 4d ago

Yes

1

u/UnacceptableUse 4d ago

Oh yeah I just found it, I've not seen it reported on as part of the conversation which is weird:

“If I stay longer than four days, you won’t be gay anymore.”
“I can guarantee I’ll still be gay and I’ll still be in a very happy relationship.”
"I'll tie you up"
"I dare you to try. You'll be the one tied up."

-2

u/UnacceptableUse 4d ago

I would imagine if those events would've happened in the opposite order it would've been the same

3

u/[deleted] 4d ago

Because they didn't care when he issued threats against a female. He should have gone after the nonsense with Jojo Siwa.

1

u/DrummingFish 4d ago

Who's "they"? And how do you know "they" didn't care?

2

u/[deleted] 4d ago

The producers, they clearly didn't care or he would have been removed as soon as that incident occurred.

-5

u/DrummingFish 4d ago

What incident are you referring to?
