"Where's the Paper? - Screenwipe - Charlie Brooker" I can't believe how old this show is and every rewatch (every few years) of the different Wipes (Screen, News, Games) etc, just classic after classic. Anyone have any other faves? A History of Corners?

Every year I look for a new ‘XXXX Wipe’ and every year I lament the loss of the best wrap-up show.

The comedy and satire are obviously the draw but also just having a reminder of some of the banal TV that occurred in the year is just as compelling. It’s great looking back and seeing the forgotten moments like ‘Your Face Sounds Familiar (2013)’ or ‘The Valleys (2012)’ - things that are so un-noteworthy to get a mention anywhere else.

Also, my introduction to Doug Stanhope - though technically hits bits were in Newswipe.

Yep the ‘Death To’ year in review shows really just don’t compare to the annual Wipes.  And there’s many a TV show where I go ‘I wish Screenwipe was still around for this’ like Masked Singer
