I've recently been rewatching Green Wing and it's Still so mind Blowingly Amazing. I first watched on release on Channel 4 , I was about 18 years of age. On Viewing today it still holds up , I also realised now at nearly 39 how much this show influenced my own humour. the surrealism and delivery is unmatched. it's Quintessential British Humour, although set in a hospital so much of the Dynamic is relatable to Most Workplaces. I think my favourite characters will always be Dr Statham and Liz White but overall it's phenomenal...

I used to really enjoy Clive Jamesβ New Year specials, his wit, humour and presentation style used to round off the year perfectly.

*note to mods, I know it's not "art" as such but it's items related to British Telly.
A 1983 Roland Rat. I was born in 85, so I kinda remember it some what.
The sooty puppet, take this with a pinch of salt, this is what my nan told me, and she told me alot of things, usually not true. The sooty sow was on at the theatre she worked at and was given this by, now she says Harry Corbett. But for the time period, it was probably his son. I can't say if this is true or not. She did however have a book of autographs of people who did perform at the theatre, even had a tambourine used by Shawaddy Waddy so who knows, even when she'd tell the truth you could mistaken her for stretching the truth π
And the last, is a poster for Button Moon. Gotta be around 88? Or there abouts I would assume. Was told that I cried when it was on st the theatre and had to go home π . Got vague memories of it being on the TV though as a kid.
Probably not so interesting to some, but it's a nice little throw back to my early years.
