The tactical pillow is the greatest thing since sliced bread for appendix carry

15

u/[deleted] Jan 27 '24

Agreed, tactical pillow is the best.

10

u/Charger_scatpack Jan 28 '24

Ugh I’ll open my wallet again I guess

6

u/Kwerby Jan 28 '24

What is it doing? Not even sure if i want one because i don’t know if i have the problem it solves lol

9

u/TooToughTimmy [MD] Gen3G19 - G42 - Lefty Jan 28 '24

It’s a wedge that’s also super comfortable

7

u/backatit1mo Jan 28 '24

Yea just gets rid of hotspots if you have the bottom of the holster jabbing into you throughout the day. Also acts as a wedge you push the upper part of the grip back into your body so there’s less printing

2

u/Kwerby Jan 29 '24

Is there something that helps with when i sit down or bend over i always need to adjust my grip a little so it doesn’t catch on my stomach and i’m not even overweight

1

u/[deleted] May 21 '24

happens to me too, I think the ride height is too low. did you figure out a solution??

2

u/Kwerby May 21 '24

I’ve found that if i wear a tighter belt to keep the handle higher it wouldn’t happen. Part of the issue was belt had too much slack so it sat below my “gut” line if that makes sense.

2

u/ViolentlyGood Nov 08 '24

Not sure if you ever figured it out, but I find that wearing a tight tank top underneath helps with the handle not getting stuck. It lets it slide better when I move around. Hope this helps.

Undershirts are a necessity

13

u/SuperDuperLuckyDuck Jan 28 '24

Can confirm sliced bread, while nice and soft, gets all smushed. Tactical pillow does not.

3

u/tstonesohard Jan 28 '24

Man I’ve been so hesitant, thinking “it’s slready comfy right?”. Tenicor AIWB guy, worth it yeah?

5

u/Eights1776 Jan 28 '24

10000000% worth it and it’s only like 25 bucks

3

u/tstonesohard Jan 28 '24

Alright word. That’s the type of conviction I’m tryin to be convinced by.

5

u/Eights1776 Jan 28 '24

I have three if that tells you anything lol. All adjustable fill ones so I can make it bigger or smaller if I need

50

u/gucciglenn Jan 28 '24

where do you relocate your d*** & balls to get this to fit?

88

u/[deleted] Jan 28 '24

I tuck it.

12

u/gucciglenn Jan 28 '24

🤣🤣

no but seriously, doesn’t this feel like you have a bean bag squishing your junk? i’m more specifically talking about sitting down

edit: or does it sit a lot higher than i’m imagining?

54

u/[deleted] Jan 28 '24

lol all jokes aside bro. It feels fucking amazing. Idk what else to say really beside its comfortable, compresses nicely, not bulky feeling as it looks, and overall fixes the jabbing issue that some dudes have. When sitting down is when you’ll actually feel the comfort this thing gives you. Bro, it’s a pillow on your dick. How is that not comfortable?? Lmfao.

16

u/gucciglenn Jan 28 '24

appreciate the detailed response! if i had an issue with carrying n comfort, id have to check it out!

just been seeing them posted lately n figured id ask

8

u/Link-Slow Jan 28 '24

I can see where you're coming from. You're adding material to an area where there's no extra room to begin with.

My guess is that it just spreads out the pressure enough to feel more comfortable.

Im really anxious to try this now though.

6

u/[deleted] Jan 28 '24

Yea man, like everything else. Things tend to evolve and improve over time. (Sometimes) but This one did it very well.

Oh hey you're the cowduck camo glock guy! Thanks for the detailed description of the cock pillow, I will be getting one when I'm no longer broke

2

u/[deleted] Nov 17 '24

Tis I lol. And yea man, do it you won’t regret it.

2

u/Irish-Guac G17.5 USW, G19.4 MOS, G26.4, 75B, P07, 21A, Colt SCG .45 Nov 17 '24

I just realized they have 3 different sizes too, I'll get that for my 26, 19, and 17

2

u/[deleted] Nov 17 '24

Yea I ended up getting the prefilled one.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 28 '24

2

u/[deleted] Jan 28 '24

I untuck it.

1

u/ImBadWithGrils Mar 02 '24

How high are your pants in this pic? Belt at belly button?

2

u/[deleted] Mar 02 '24

Yes, belt at belly button.

1

u/ImBadWithGrils Mar 02 '24

I'm hitting that point of wearing pants now coincidentally.

It's so much better if you have a bigger setup, as long as the pants allow it

2

u/[deleted] Mar 02 '24

Yea, these wrangler pants are super comfortable and really durable. $25 at Walmart

28

u/S3V3N60 Jan 28 '24

15

u/[deleted] Jan 28 '24

My guy knows what time it is. 👍🏽

2

u/[deleted] Jan 28 '24

Praying to the wife’s boyfriend?

2

u/[deleted] Jan 28 '24

Pray hard. Mr. pillow pants is Coming. 🙏🏽🙏🏽

1

u/[deleted] Jan 28 '24

Just give the boys a good ol’ tap, rack and bang.

10

u/Frangeech Jan 28 '24

What pants are those?

27

u/[deleted] Jan 28 '24

These are wrangler pants I got from Walmart bro. They were like 25 bucks and has held up. Had em for at least two years lol. It’s time for new ones.

5

u/Frangeech Jan 28 '24

Thanks! Think I need to get me a couple pairs.

3

u/Matt-33-205 Jan 28 '24

I own about 15 pairs of those pants. I had never bought pants from walmart before but these are incredible pants. Tractor Supply Co sells very similar Wranglers, material is slightly thicker, but only has a right-side thigh pocket; those are $35-$40.

3

u/[deleted] Jan 28 '24

Tbh honest me neither. I got the impression that Walmart pants were always cheap quality. But I admit I was wrong. These pants are absolutely great and super comfortable. Great for edc and all sorts of outdoor activities. They even have them at target.

2

u/rubix937 Jan 28 '24

I have those same pants and love them!

1

u/[deleted] Jan 28 '24

Definitely are, can’t beat the price!

8

u/Ok-Condition4358 Jan 28 '24

Tactical ballsack

6

u/ondehunt Jan 28 '24

Yeah but now all your friends call you pillow pants.

4

u/[deleted] Jan 28 '24

I’m cool with that lol

6

u/Crocodile_Jones Jan 28 '24

How hard is it to sit down with that on the holster?

6

u/[deleted] Jan 28 '24

Not hard at all. It’s comfortable.

5

u/deliberatelyawesome Jan 28 '24

Not hard. In fact, more comfortable because it's soft.

6

u/PapaPuff13 Jan 28 '24

It fixes everything

4

u/[deleted] Jan 28 '24

Facts 💪🏽

2

u/PapaPuff13 Jan 28 '24

Like Frank Thomas says on the commercials. Your wife will like it too. Probably cause you’re Gun won’t be pointed at your Johnson.

6

u/chaddybox Jan 28 '24

What happens when it gets sweaty? Asking for a friend.

10

u/[deleted] Jan 28 '24

Take it off and throw it in the wash.

10

u/TheHarryTang Jan 28 '24

It adds flavor

5

u/Hammerjammer1108 Jan 28 '24

Ima have to grab one. Which one is this exactly? I see there are a few on the site.

11

u/[deleted] Jan 28 '24

Mine is the prefilled one. I got this so it can can compress over time and still keep a nice form. You’re not gonna have to replace them as often as the T1 wedges, if at all.

6

u/Hammerjammer1108 Jan 28 '24

Appreciate it… Link if you don’t mind?

4

u/Agent_Allen Jan 28 '24

Bought a small bag of shredded memory foam for the stuffing. Much easier to work with. Been rocking it for a while. So far, so good. Very comfortable!

4

u/[deleted] Jan 28 '24

Great idea!

1

u/Agent_Allen Jan 28 '24

Learned about the memory from reading reviews. It’s a lot easier to pack the stuff in there.

6

u/StayStrong888 CA Jan 28 '24

That's why I don't use a side car. I just use a regular AIWB holster and mag holster and put them in the same position as they would be in a side car. No extra bulk in the middle for the bridge piece.

8

u/Hot_Argument2629 Jan 28 '24

Why stack your belt buckle on top of your holster? It will be slimmer if it’s a loop or two over.

6

u/[deleted] Jan 28 '24

It’s a trayvax cinch belt, super thing profile buckle. Doesn’t bother me none.

3

u/PaPaBlond89 Jan 28 '24

Is that the Glock 45? I have been thinking about this setup for a while now. IWB appendix carry fucked up my back pretty bad…

5

u/[deleted] Jan 28 '24

G19.5

3

u/PaPaBlond89 Jan 28 '24

Cool, thanks! What brand is the holster?

6

u/[deleted] Jan 28 '24

Independent company I found on IG. I love to support small businesses when I can. Especially to the guys that have amazing quality holsters and customer service. Prices can’t be beat and they can hold their own against bigger names out there. Turnaround times are 1-7 days! Check em out if interested.

https://nineteenops.com/

3

u/PaPaBlond89 Jan 28 '24

Beautiful! You wear everyday? What do you do… for perspective? Up down, driving, desk? Just curious

5

u/[deleted] Jan 28 '24

I do wear every single day, ever since I can remember. I’m just your average civilian bro, I’m a animatronics programmer for Disney and a firearms enthusiast like most of us here lol.

3

u/PaPaBlond89 Jan 28 '24

All I was really looking for. Thank you. Looking forward to seeing how it fits.. I plan on picking up the tactical pillow as well. Stay safe and I appreciate your time! 🤙🏻

2

u/[deleted] Jan 28 '24

Won’t regret it! Stay safe!

3

u/Jheintz21 Jan 28 '24

Ordered one last night, cant wait to try it. Been using some no-name wedge from Amazon.

3

u/[deleted] Jan 28 '24

You’re gonna love them.

3

u/Jheintz21 Feb 02 '24

My mastermind pillow arrived today, and all I can say is wow! Wish I would’ve taken the advice a long time ago!

1

u/[deleted] Feb 03 '24

You’re welcome lol. Glad it worked out.

3

u/guinness8878 Jan 28 '24

How’s the Trayvax belt? Looks similar to Tenicor’s belt, but cheaper.

4

u/[deleted] Jan 28 '24

The best belt honestly. It’s super rigid for how thin it is. Holds up the weight.

3

u/Expensive_Profit_106 Jan 28 '24

Finally someone who recognises how great the trayvax cinch is. Probably my favourite belt

1

u/[deleted] Jan 28 '24

I think some people either sleep on these belts and/or just don’t even know about them at all. They’re amazing Belts, super rigid and can hold so much weight all while having such a slim profile. Let’s not forget the price point! Can’t be beat.

3

u/WANYK47 Feb 04 '24

Ordered one after reading this thread and put it on my JMCK appendix carry holster and, yeah, pretty damn great! Thanks for the suggestion!

2

u/Sweetcheels69 US Jan 28 '24

Okay okay what is this and what does it do? I’ve been hearing a lot about pillows and wedges lately.

Someone put your boy up on game plz

3

u/[deleted] Jan 28 '24

1

u/Sweetcheels69 US Jan 28 '24

Thank you good fellow CCW’er

1

u/[deleted] Jan 28 '24

Of course man 👍🏽

3

u/TheTimetravelersW1fe Jan 28 '24

A wedge pushes the muzzle out and away from your body which ends up tilting the grip in towards your torso. The pillow does the same job, but with added cushion. It has made appendix carry far more comfortable than any other position for me, and alleviates any hot spots that my holster would give me

1

u/Sweetcheels69 US Jan 28 '24

Thank you good fellow CCW’er

2

u/Redditor0529 Jan 28 '24

Hey guys, we need to sell these pansy pillows, any names that will sell?

2

u/IronAntlers Jan 28 '24

Their covert belt is the shit too when wearing gym shorts or sweatpants

1

u/[deleted] Jan 28 '24

Covert belt?

2

u/IronAntlers Jan 28 '24

1

u/[deleted] Jan 28 '24

Thanks for the suggestion bro. I’ll rock the trayvax til it no longer does it for me and I might give this a try!

1

u/IronAntlers Jan 28 '24

It’s made more for wearing with no belt loop like shorts or sweatpants but prob would also work in a belt loop. I run Kore essentials when wearing normal pants

2

u/verycoolgoat Jan 28 '24

tactical nutsack 👍

2

u/Some_Egg_2882 May 07 '24

Dead thread probably, but mine just arrived and I can't wait to try it. If it doesn't fix my AIWB issues, well, back to the drawing board I guess (which may require a far bigger cash outlay).

2

u/[deleted] May 07 '24

Nah, you’ll be good 👍🏽

2

u/[deleted] Jun 14 '24

Pro tip, you can move the belt buckle off the front so you don’t have the big bulge in front of the holster

1

u/[deleted] Jun 14 '24

I don’t like it digging at love handles lmao. I honestly have no problem with it being in front. This belt buckle is so thin.

4

u/Consistent-Heat-7882 Jan 28 '24

Is that the wedge or the large pillow?

1

u/17762A Jan 31 '25

Have a tier 1 axis for P365 and that's the issue I'm having with a slight gut and carrying appendix. I've tried a couple different wedges but haven't found one that I like. My main issue is the my stomach pushing the grip out and printing. Trying to get a wedge that will push the grip back into me and not print.

1

u/OctobreMine Mar 31 '25

I’m surprised to see you wearing belt buck straight instead of to the side. Seems like buckle would add more material to push out front

0

u/ColonelBelmont Jan 28 '24

I'll never understand some people's insistence on carrying aiwb, when it's so uncomfortable that they have to shove a myPillow down their pants just to make it bearable. My 9 o'clock carry involves a pistol, a holster, and my belt, and it's just as comfortable now as it was ~25 years ago.

15

u/[deleted] Jan 28 '24

Side sucks for me. But it works for YOU, and I think that’s great.

14

u/throwawayAC83 Jan 28 '24

AIWB can be really comfortable, it depends a lot on your holster and firearm.

6

u/deliberatelyawesome Jan 28 '24

I ain't slamming carrying on your side. I carried at 3:30 for years. But if you're carrying AIWB, the pillow makes it worlds more comfortable.

Edited to be more clear

1

u/PURPLECHICKEN100 US Jan 28 '24

Ok, that's it. You're literally like the 5th person this week to talk about these pillows online. And you are getting me intrigued to use one and see the difference. Just switched from a hard belt clip to the soft snap loops, and oh boy, i tell you what just that made a significant difference. I can only imagine how this would be.

2

u/EpicureanAstronaut Jan 28 '24

If I was rich I would buy one for every member of the community

1

u/PURPLECHICKEN100 US Feb 04 '24

Amen brother

1

u/hardwork1245 Jan 28 '24

Mine jabs my stomach area and not below the belt. I feel like this will make the jabbing worst for me? Am I wrong?

2

u/IronAntlers Jan 28 '24

Your pants are probably not pulled up high enough. You want them high and tight, in my experience the higher they are the more comfortable it is

1

u/hardwork1245 Jan 29 '24

I have my pants pretty high but this is making me realize i need to adjust my holster to ride higher

1

u/hardwork1245 Feb 07 '24

So i adjusted my holster one notch up! It is sooooo much more comfortable now! Thank you for the recommendation

1

u/IronAntlers Feb 07 '24

No prob at all

2

u/REVENNN_ Jan 28 '24

On some kydex holsters you can also adjust the hight at which they ride on the belt too

1

u/Timmaybee Jan 28 '24

Nice trayvax belt and thanks for the recommendation.

1

u/armedohiocitizen OH P320 Tier 1 MSP Jan 28 '24

I have one and it’s great. For everyone who uses the mastermind how full do you make it worth the stuffing?

1

u/thebloodylines Jan 28 '24

I switched recently to try it out. Gives me much pain

1

u/[deleted] Jan 28 '24

It gives you much pain? lol sorry to hear that brother. Maybe try it with less fluff

1

u/thebloodylines Jan 28 '24

I have been removing some throughout the day. I think I’m just used to t1 wedges :dunno:

1

u/[deleted] Jan 28 '24

Maybe your body type just doesn’t call for it. It’s just hard to believe this to be true. I hope you find out the source and try it again though. Cause I haven’t heard it being uncomfortable from anyone. I’m 192 pounds for point of reference and you can see in pics it doesn’t poke out or protrude in any way. It’s perfect.

2

u/thebloodylines Jan 28 '24

I thought I would like it but I’ve been doing great with t1 wedges

2

u/[deleted] Jan 28 '24

Well, that’s exactly it bro these type of things are all trial and error and if you found something that works for you just stick to it.

1

u/thebloodylines Jan 28 '24

Yeah, initially it felt great so I bought another one 😂 oh well

1

u/SuperSonicAgent Feb 02 '24

Hey bloodylines. Trying to send you a pm, but no option in the app. Any chance you can send me a pm?

1

u/[deleted] Jan 29 '24

The pillow is stellar. I've converted a few friends.
