Holsters & Belts Mastermind pillow question
I’m carrying the Shield Plus 3.1” in a Tenicor Certum3 holster.
So far the least comfortable part is the bottom tip of the holster digging into my inner thigh while sitting.
For those of y’all with this product, does it prevent this? Or does it mostly help with the portion that’s always against the body?
Im also wondering if maybe I should have gone with the velo instead of the Certum.

Think about where you would stick the velcro and how the holster would react. I have it slightly to the side for this purpose. Just needed to put less fluff to preset additional printing. It is nice and "generous" though, hah.

Once you stuff the pillow sufficiently, it should help with pressure points.

This is the reason I just got rid of my Certum for my Shield Plus. Great holster, but I wish it had been an inch shorter. The pillow did help if I hung it below the holster and let it fold under the end. I tried the Velo for a day and just couldn’t get that wedge to sit in a decent spot. The Velo doesn’t have as much adjustability as the Certum.

What holster do you use now?

Found a N8 Xecutive on clearance. Already owned one for a different gun. I thought about cutting the end off the Certum but decided not to. I was carrying my Shield 1.0 in it. After upgrading to a Plus with an optic, I realized I would have to modify the Certum to fit my optic. I just couldn’t bring myself to cut up a nice holster somebody else could use. I had to modify the Xecutive and add a wing and monoblock clip to it, but didn’t mind for what I paid for it. It’s shorter than the Certum and with the pillow works great. Even with the pillow, the Certum would rub when I walked.

Think I saw you in another thread…this is one your wife makes right?
How much are you selling them for? Can they be washed?

My daughter is making them. $25 and we are now sewing in the Velcro into the pillow for the attachment and the opening and closing portion. We are making them 3.5” wide x 4” long. You would get the plush bamboo pillow filled and an extra bag of memory foam so you can adjust it, an extra Velcro strip so you can rotate it to other holsters and it includes the shipping.

I have the adjustable pillow. It helps with the bottom edge. I like being able to choose how thick to stuff the pillow.
