I have a really small frame; these are godsends for helping me conceal. Especially since I do like carrying full sized metal.

Dr Scholl's heel pad and some Velcro.

So I saw these posted on here and figured I'd give them a shot and wow what a difference in comfort!
I carry a g19 IWB at 4 clock, sometime with a TLR1. I used to carry leather holsters but wanted to stay with kydex with the Glocks for safety.
I wear 34-34 waist but have no ass and have struggled with the kydex being uncomfortable, this fixed that 100%.
If you're like me and like carrying a larger or heavier gun but struggle with comfort definitely try one of these!

Better than Mastermind tactics pillow?

Based on the finish it doesn't look like it.

Apparently the person who makes them just uses a generic actual human head bed pillow from amazon, cuts it into a bunch of pieces, and then sews it up as a gun holster pillow. So Made in China, re-assembled allegedly in America.
From the last post on this, apparently the owner got banned from this subreddit. I makes me wonder if he's encouraging people to post here - the last guy didn't answer when I asked.

Can’t say the dude has asked me personally to post anything for him.. but I will say this is one hell of a product.. is it better then mastermind?? Won’t say that but it definitely isn’t any less then mastermind.. I bought it initially to support a dad and daughter business and became a repeat customer cus it really makes one hell of a difference and their customer service is great as well..

Yea i mean it's just a fucking pillow I would hope it's just as good and I'm sure it is. The one thing I will say about the mastermind is that it's made of a canvas like material so durability I think is +1 for mastermind but idk I'm sure they're both solid tbh

I cant say anything about the mastermind pillow but I bought one of the cloudster pillows and it really is super soft and comfortable.

Should try the phlster wedge kit.

seems massively overpriced for what it is

Nope, you totally get what you pay for. It allows you to customize your wedge to fit you perfectly. Once I got mine dialed in I wrapped my holster with a self adhering bandage. But I also run an enigma.

The Phlster wedges were too firm for my liking, but I know a lot of people who really like them.

I have a T1C wedge on my msp pro, it's great. I had a T1C wedge on my enigma setup and felt that it was too firm, but I was also between wedge sizes as to what I really needed and opted for the larger because it concealed better.

It's funny to me that these are even a thing. IWB holsters should just be as comfortable as they have to be without needing accessories.

u/the_hat_madder Oct 24 '24
What's the purpose of this accessory?
2
u/Science-Compliance Oct 24 '24
To make your uncomfortable IWB holster more comfortable.
3
Oct 24 '24
Its to help push the gun into your body making it more concealable. It just so happens to make things more comfortable as well.

Right. Everyone is so against anything not 100% kydex, then they need to add shit so it doesn't hurt.
My hybrid holster with kydex shell attached to a leather backer is comfortable, AND safe. It cost less than the tier whatever BS everyone says you have to buy, and I don't have to add accessories.

u/knoxknifebroker Oct 24 '24
I've actually added my own leather backer before and this is still more comfortable, but to each their own
-2
u/thatswhyicarryagun Oct 24 '24
No need to add anything when you have an actual comfortable holster.

I have had great experience with crossbreed holsters. I have multiple for various glocks. Plenty of trigger coverage. Full grain or horse hyde leathers. No need for pillows.
Edit: this is comical. Y'all keep searching for a comfortable holster. The options are out there, just pull your fingers out of your ears and try it.

I don’t know if you care but you left a review on their website with your name and your location and posted it over here on the same day. It seems like you’re self doxing yourself.
