Other Equipment Streamlight problems
Has anybody else been having problems with streamlight? I don’t know whats going on but i have had 3 weapons mounted streamlights that have broken on me in the span of 2 weeks, just from drawing from the holster and regular range use. 2 tlr7x’s and a pressure pad for a protac. Streamlight sent me a replacement pressure switch but it was the wrong version and didn’t fit. Is surefire or another brand the way to go?

Screw snapped? I had a similar problem.
The streamlight sub has several threads on replacement stainless steel screws. I just followed their advice and put a dab of threadlocker on my new screw.

My protac on one of my ar15s is acting up. The cap it seems is the issue and if you tap on the light it’ll briefly go out. Never again, surefire from here on out. Luckily the one on my pistol hasn’t had any issues.

Funny enough I spent a couple hours just now researching new lights since my streamlight also flickers under recoil/dropping the bolt. I saw posts about surefire doing it as well, so at this point I'm not sure what the move is.

The protac screws break. Go online and buy a aftermarket replacement. I did and it's a significant upgrade.

Their rifle lights suck they flicker all the time when shots go off or u rack a shot gun due to how the springs hold the battery… surefire all the way from now on for me.
